It was the 1st port of call on our cruise with Carnival Liberty.
The whole island is only 8 miles long and owned by Holland America(I think that's the correct cruise line).
We spent a whole day there....with drinks being forced on you, the sun and water beautiful and a wonderful meal all before going back on the ship.
Looking at the snow and the -5 degrees celcius here now, I wish to be there now.
Ever been to Half Moon Cay, Bahamas.....or on a Carnival cruise?

I think I heard this Island mentioned on a show I was watching. The characters were going there. Lucky folks. I have never been on a cruise. Not sure I will ever get to go on one. Hope to some day. The names sounds delightful. I have always wanted to go to the Bahamas. It has been frigid here as well. More snow than we have had in several years. I would wonder if I would get sea sick.

In hindsight, there are little things that I should have noticed like: while watching a train go by-I get dizzy, swinging makes me a bit dizzy, really bumpy roads makes me a bit queazy....I will probably give it one more try.

I've actually never been on a cruise in my life and I've actually never been to the Bahamas either. However, that is one of the things that is on my bucket list for my life. One of my dreams for my life is to be able to take my family and my mother on a cruise. I want to include my mother because she always wanted to go on a cruise for her 25th wedding anniversary, but my father passed away before that time came, so I'd like to be able to take her when we are able to go on one.

Cruising is the best way to spend a vacation.
When you think about hotel prices, food, entertainment for an entire week....a cruise is by far the cheapest way to go.
There is absolutely nothing to worry about, except which sun dress to waer today. lol
Definetly worth it.

We have been on 4 cruises, all Carnival. Twice to the Bahamas--20 years apart, once to Cancun, and once to the Western Caribbean. We love cruising and are booked to go to Alaska next year.

My step-father was on the Splendor, the one that just a few weeks ago came from Long Beach, otherwise known as the Nightmare Cruise Ship. He, along with several other people aboard that ship are looking to sue Carnival now.

I spent a week in the Bahamas split between Paradise Island and Grand Bahamas. I remember taking a city tour in which the tour guide would show us all the tropical plants and "back home this is a house plant"...

It's beautiful.
There was a sign on Half Moon Cay, it said: I wish I could stay here forever'.
That pretty much says it all.
