If You Could Work For Mylot-What Would Be The Perfect Position For You?

If Mylot offered you a job position here and you could choose whatever positon you wanted, what would that be? and why would you choose that particular position?What would you bring here that you believe would make the admin job a little easier? Even though i havent been here very long, with some training i would like to be a moderator for discussions here.i think it's such a daunting task keeping track of the hundreds of discussions here and helping out would be a very satisfying accomplishment.so, i'm interested to know, what position would you choose?and please explain why.

I would not mind being the one to moderate discussions and responses. I am such an active member here that I see all the abuse that goes on, I would be so happy to have the ability to delete and remove invaluable discussions and responses.
Another duty I would so enjoy is to guide new members and any not so new. There are so many members that have no absolute idea how the site really works and gives up. So I would love to hold members hands to assist with continuing to thrive the site.
Am I hired.

I think that would be one of the most valuable positions here.There are just way too many irrelevant discussions here and many that are not discussions at all. Since you are a very active member and say you would also like to help the newcomers by assisting them with their membership, if i were Mylot, i'd hire you tomorrow,lol

Hi dear,
If it is open and associated with posts, comments and debates etc, I can go for the censoring of the data what people used to post in their columns. But I don’t think it can work out. Because, I am well placed in a company and paying substantially. At present, I don’t think myLot can pay may me what I am drawing now for my current job. Also for the post what I prefer to do here is not so appreciable one.

Hi dear,
Of course, it must be a tedious job. The valuer should consider various factors while doing the process. The ugly part is that they should go through each and every mails, (if they do so), and consider its grade. However, the prolonged work on the same nature would be quite mechanical and there won’t be much botheration involved. They must be just censuring the contents considering the contents by violating the guidelines.

yes, i guess money would have to be a very big factor. Moderators would have to be drawing a pretty nice salary since it must be so time consuming and difficult to wade through the hundreds of discussions searching for ones that must be deleted for going against Mylot's guidelines and there are tons of them.

Woah if I was offered a job at Mylot, then that would be good. My perfect position would be to become a moderator, as I want to police the whole Mylot community and look out for flame wars and when I see people scolding each other, I'll try to advise them. Hmm...that would be so great!

Yeah, wouldn't it great to be a moderator? Warning members who argue and ridicule each other would be a big help. Some members wouldn't like it, but i would start deleting all the "poll questions" and "one line" discussions.I would also like to advise members that they "must" reply to people who respond to their discussions, since i see a lot of people who leave their posts, without ever replying to anyone.

If i worked for mylot then i would love too be a moderator or a admin as they can do cool stuff and they are respected and also they can kick any people that go against the rules the only down side too it i guess is you would have too work long hours and i bet you get a lot of spam so you would need too setup a seperate email for spam.I would bring my experience too this site and i would also try and make it a lot of a easier place too chat i could alkso help people sign up with maybe a chatroom on the site for newcomers too be helped.

I agree, the hours would be very long especially since so many newcomers tend to ignore the guidelines and just post whatever they want.but, i really like your chatroom idea as it would make the site a lot more personal and enable people to just chat with each other without having to start a discussion.also, helping newcomers who "ask" for help, would solve many of the problems the admin has to deal with every day.

The position where you take more then member and type/work less :P
But well thats a dream right :P
Anyway why not being admin its not that hard i gues i just need to throw an eye from time to time for spamers and people going agains the rules :) I was making it in normal forum i dont think its going to be so much harder here ;)

i would like to comment on discussions, advise others, create discussions that made users feel happy to comment and i would work a lot^^ like i used to do before. but i really am needing to earn some good money thats why i cant dedicate so much time to mylot as i used to before. but sure if i worked here i would love to. i could work here like 10 hours everyday bcs i really am needing the money and i would contribute with cool and fun discussions and advise users with their problems the better i could

You don't have to be working for Mylot to do the things you mentioned.Since you can "comment on discussions," "advise others" and "create discussions" just by being a member. but the fact that you say you would work 10hrs a day, would be very helpful and interesting as well.
