i have heard many people say out loud that being a dreamer is the most laziest hobby a person can have...that a dreamer has no actual ability to face the harshness of the world....they live in their own world unmindful of all the things that goes on around them in the real world. but i ask then, why is it that teachers of kindergarten section and even higher had always nudged us to dream big and dream right? why did they encourage the little toddlers to dream about having a big house and lots of toys, why have parents encouraged us to dream big????....its because practical or not dreaming is an essential component necessary for growing up. So i believe that every one can be a dreamer. at least that way even a dying man can build up little flares of hope that will, along with the other happiness he has acquired over his life, put an everlasting smile on his face for the long eternal sleep. what do you all think...i would love to know your thoughts on this...!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think everybody is a dreamer, but some people won't admit this. Being a dreamer isn't a weakness. I believe to have a dream keeps us strong in our lives. Don't loose your dreams....

I like your thought. Maybe its not that they don't want to admit to being a dreamer rather they just don't look at their ambitions as being dreams. It all just depends on how someone looks at it.

I don't think dreaming is bad at all. In fact I think its essential to spark what you really want in life, and go after it. If the world didn't have dreamers we wouldn't have the luxuries of life that were invented and developed by those dreamers. The world would be boring. Dreamers have the ability to think of things in a new way. That can bring inspiration into the lives of many. Why limit ones self to what is presented? Dreamers have the ability to look at ordinary things and see what is beyond; see the extraordinary things that are hidden to the none dreamer. That's just the way I "look" at it.

I completely agree with you here. Being a dreamer could possibly make you a more determined individual - one that is willing to push boundaries, face harsh challenges and dedicate countless hours to fulfilling precious dreams. To me, dreamers appear to be more passionate as they hold their goals close their heart. The vision and optimism that comes with dreaming can only strengthen a human being, even if one is faced with many failures along the way.

I don't think it is ever a bad idea to be a dreamer. Dreamers are achievers. if we didn't have dreams to go after, life could be so empty and meaningless. Being a dreamer can only enrich our lives.

We all dream in sleep whether we like it or not.But day dreaming is different.Thinking about some imaginary things and feeling satisfaction is day dreaming. So some are practical thinkers and some are day dreamers.Besides practical men day dreamwers also contribute to the society. They are poets and good artists. It is laziness in out ward appearance but in reality they do some work or the other mentally. We cannot ignore them completely...

I think being a dreamer is not entirely a bad idea,at least, you have your own dream, but you have to work for your dream, pursue your dream and then achieve your dream. As it goes, choice is much more important than work.If you even don't have a dream, how can you achieve your dream and perform yourself, beyond yourself. In that case, being a dreamer is not a entirely bad idea

Every real success in life at first was just a dream. If you stop dreaming, you will stop creating. Everything starts in the mind :) Dream, but make dreams true too, if you want of course :)

Its not really bad to be a dreamer...as long as it doesn't effect your reality. AS long as you use that dream of yours for something good, like an inspiration to be a better person.

Nice discussion. In my opinion you must not stop dreaming. In dream you can achieve those things what you could not do in reality. And it is not a lazy hobby at all.It is in fact very innovative. So keep on dreaming and dream big!!!
