I am using Nokia N70. It is really old cellphone but it's function is very good for me. Nokia always a good branch in cellphone. I suggest you to buy a Nokia cellphone. Today, you can buy a Nokia 5230. It's very good with GPS and 3G. I think it suitable for you now. Some idea, hope this can help you. Have a good day my friend!

Well, you need to consider specs like size and weight. But what are you going to do with the phone? If its just for calling, i think any phone out there can do the job. But if you text a lot, you might wanna get a device with a full keyboard, to make things easier (QWERTY). Are you signing up for a data plan? Because if you are, you need to get the most out of your cellphone. You might wanna look for functions like compass, GPS and of corse good web browsing. I think that every student should be able to have a smart phone. I would recommend brands like Apple, HTC and Blackberry. A good amount of apps is also considerable. The Android app store is growing, but its nothing compared to the iPhone app store.

Good day to you Chowee, Now a days since a lot of cellphone brands are coming out on to the market, we should be wise in choosing the best. And not only that, we should als be careful in choosing what to buy since, money is not that easy to earn. Especially on your part, that you are still a student. With reference to your queries, perhaps you can choose a phone that best suites to your lifestyle and needs. Maybe you can consider a cellphone with wlan capacity, dictionary and with a micro SD. For me, those three items needs to be consider since, internet (wlan capacity) is somehow needed by some students in making abrupt research, dictionary is also useful, and having a micro SD will somehow help you to store and save the reasearch effectively. As you dont need to write everything since all you have to do is to save and store it on the SD card. Aside from the fact, that you will use the cellphone to send SMS and use the unit for calling. Those things that I have shared above will somehow be consider in choosing a new unit of cellphone. Hence, dont forget to consider the budget or the amount allocated in buying a cellphone unit. Hope this will somehow help you in choosing and buying a new cellphone unit.

Aside from my basic need on phones that could text and call, I also look for the phone is the battery life. I text and call a lot but I don't charge a lot so I always look for the phone it's battery life. And other wants on the phone is the camera and video quality and the memory capacity. And if I'm still on budget, I go for the phones that fits the current trend like touch screens and qwerty keypad phones. Since you're a student and if you have the budget, look for one that has a lot of memory. Can do email on phone, have documents reader, have a good video and camera quality, long battery life.

first of all you should consider your budget. then the features that you need such as camera, memory capacity, and it would be better if it has wifi capabilities. for me any brand will do as long as it can provide all the fetures that you need.

First of all, I will consider the operating system because I like Windows mobile. Besides it, I will see the brand and the price. Nowadays I prefer to use touchscreen cellphone much more. I also need the cellphone with wifi and GPS because they are quite important for me. Especially the wifi feature, it is so convenient for me to take advantage of the cellphone to get online by wifi connection. I love China

One thing you should consider is how much you're willing to pay. Not just up front, but monthly, as well. My boyfriend just got a Droid 2, and his monthly plan is now $82 a month. In terms of things that are popular, I see a lot of Droids, Ipones, and Blackberries. I myself have an LG phone that isn't quite a smart phone, and it works pretty well. In terms of picking the phone, you should look up reviews online. Some phones fall apart easily. Besides that, just look at them, I guess. Best Buy has a pretty good selection of phones from all brands. You don't necessarily have to buy them there. Just get a feel for what you like and then shop around for a good price, I guess.

I consider the camera and the music quality while buying a mobile phone and the best one will be Nokia 6303 i.. It comes with 3.2 mpx camera and 18 million colors resolution with 3G... The added advantage is that it has flash in it's camera... Think twice while buying a mobile phone and act smart !!

It really comes down to what you need and which you really like. I have 3 in mind and hope it works for you. IPhone I great apps and you can customize it anyway you want. Very common and great touch screen phone. A few down points are the send mms (picture7y and getting a songs which can be troublesome. Android - if you like multitasking, this coudl be it! Multitaking god and is works well. Just cafeful as to much activity going to drain your battery. It is getting closer to iphone in terms of popularity. Blackberry - I really love this. Apps are nt as many as the above two but I really love the qwerty keyboard. Task orientated people should get this and the best will be able to have the push email setting. Hope this helps and good luck. Just remember, before buying go and test to see which you really like. Follow your heart.

hi, you should buy a phone very carefully and review all functions.in my opinion you should only pay for functions you need and not to buy a expensive phone for a one or two "cool" features. just make a list of things you want to do with your phone and find one you can do it here. thnx http://www.gsmarena.com/search.php3

I like to choose the phone first by the way it looks and from there I like to play with the phone for a little bit so I can see how it works and if I am going to like using it. I want it to be a phone that I am going to be happy with for a long time.

Nowadays, many students in my school use the iPhone, as it's good for apps and going on the internet as the screen is quite big. I do recommend touch phones and smartphones. It's quite popular with students nowadays. If you have a lot of things to remember and want to take note of them, maybe the iPhone will be good for you as there are a lot of apps for you to download and some of them may be use for you. Well, when buying a cellphone, the things that I will consider is the price, the features and the battery life. In fact, the most important aspect of a cellphone is its battery life. With short battery life span, that phone is just not worth it. Mine is an LG KU550 by the way.

Hi Chowee! Iphones are good but I suggest since you are a student, don't bring cellphones that are expensive because it's an eye cather especially to snatchers. My son's celphone was snatched during his college days when he is about to go home, luckily,he was not hurt. Good thing his celphone was the old model of motorola which is not yet a megapixel. But still,he felt so sad about it. I would suggest any model of sonny ericsson or motorola because of its quality. My celphone is sony ericsson and still functioning after so many times of dropping it,lol! Just go for the ones you will like most just don't buy too expensive ones.
