The most important expectation that I have for my children is that they love and really respect other people. In addition to that, I want them to take pride in their property and their actions. I want them to grow up to be respectible adults so though at times it seems like I am hard on them, I think that they will turn out better in the long run because of the expectations that I place on them. I think it is important to know who you are and to also be able to deal with other people as well.

I don't have any children. I know my parent's expectations of me, and i'm doing my best to meet their expectations. Actually, it's easier for me compared to my brother because i'm a women. All they want is me marrying a good man, leading a comfortable life. When it comes to supporting the family, my responsibility stops upon me marrying. However, i will still continue to care and support my parents as it's the responsibility of me being their child.

That they have good hearts and care about animals and people. That they are appropriate when away from home. That they know the difference between right and wrong. That they are never sorry for any of the decisions that they may make. That they have realistic and fun dreams. That they chose a good life partner. That I die before they do.

I expect my children to be honest, and to always do their best. I expect my children to clean up after themselves and to always try and never ever give up, no matter how bad things get. I expect them to help each other and be there for one another.

Hello DoctorDidi! I wanted my children to finish their studies and be successful to the fields they wanted to. Luckily,my son gratuated from college just this year and he is now working. So far,he enjoys what he is doing and I'm satisfied with it. I just want my two kids to be happy with their lives, live in Godly ways, love and be loved by someone that will inspire them.

I have 5 children, so I know I should have expectations. But I really don't. All I want them to be is happy in whatever choice they make in life. I know my daughter is great at art and I should expect her to go to art school and become some painter or designer. But she wants to be a singer and she can't even sing. But it makes her happy. So when she gets a little older and she wants to give it a try. Then more power to her. Actually, I think the only expectations I have of them is for them to listen and be respectful. Which they are not. Now they are polite. They say yes ma'am, no ma'am, please, thank you, and all that good junk. But they do not listen worth a darn.. LOL

I hope that my oldest son will get an excellent education and get a career that makes him happy. I wish him to be able to go to places that I know would interest him greatly: Egypt, Rome in Italy and Carthage in Tunisia. He is fascinated in history. That son of mine is currently fifteen years old. Finding out about my second son's spina bifida and hydrocephalus at 36 weeks pregnancy was a shock. I want him to live happily and be able to do things that he enjoys. I want him to be healthy before, during and after operations. I want him to get on well with people, disabled and normal ones. That son of mine is currently three years old. My baby daughter is just seventeen months old at the current time. I hope that she will be kind to her disabled brother. I would like to be happy and enjoy life. I hope that she will do well at school and find a career that she will enjoy doing.

To be the best caring and respectful human beings they possibly can. The rest is their choice to make. Whatever they opt to make out of their life I will certainly be content that the above I mentioned will make them happy human beings.

Most important is to do well in education and become a good person. Education wise, I do hope they excel and understand the meaning of it. Also being able to avoid negative influence from bad hats!
