Hello Lotters, I should have known a few days ago so that i could have wash them again, but i didn't. I was too lazy to fold my clothing. until that time last night where my mom said i had to go to the hospital because she's getting tired and doesn't want to come back. so, i rushed in and find suitable clothing. but what surprise and got me MAD at was there was a rotten mango inside the bulk of dried clothes. from there i started smelling my clothes like a mango. I was so upset that this day i had to wash them up again.. but this time, just a little cleaning. but a bit faster this time just to take out the smell. WOULD YOU BELIEVE That??? A ROTTEN MANGO INSIDE A BULK OF NEWLY WASHED DRIED CLOTHES!. am sure mom didn't notice a mango fell when she took my clothes out. this time, am telling her not to touch it (clothes) until it's completely dried. probably put on the second floor area where it can be safe from FALLING ROTTEN MANGOES Have a great day.

That must be hard, not to mention the cost of using water just to laundry it again. I make sure nothing falls off in my clothes since i use plastic cover. i had experience birds poop falling from the sky.

Hi there That's really funny! what coincidence of that happening to you. maybe next time you should let you're mom know that you're clothes are you're responsibility. mangoes really stain and i believe that cleaning them up was the right thing to do.

my mind is taking a different course... hehe... so you have a backyard mango tree? i'm assuming that it's from there that the rotten mangoes came falling off. what variety? lovely! i'm sorry you were upset with your run-in with a rotten mango amongst your clean dry clothes. hope it didn't stain or something. coz mango stains are sometimes hard to come off. what we usually or sometimes have are birds' droppings. hehe right off from drying it in the sun, early morning til afternoon, lots of birds flock in our garden. sometimes the casualty is just a piece of clothing or two. and i can quite understand how we can be pissed off when that happens. speaking of laundry... goodness i have to do mine tomorrow morning. hehe as i slept the afternoon off to recover from lack of sleep during the trip yesterday and early this morning. ok tc guys!

Hello Myl I should have checked them as the time i saw them in the Bed and at least attempt to segregate them but i guess I was too lazy to do that. well, it's the yellow one and not the green one. probably all of those juices had flown into the other clothes, that's why it smelled that way Have a good rest. yeah, laundry's a pain!

Hey Letran! I just don't know what to say about this one! I would kind of think that Mango would give the clothes a nice smell? But, I guess if it was a rotten mango, then maybe not? But, I don't think you should be so angry at your mother since she was nice enough to take the clothes out in the first place, didn't she?

Hello Opal. No, Don't worry I wasn't angry but I was upset when she told me that she pick it up in the evening. where she can literally not see everything, specially that mango. i have now place it under the ceiling even at this afternoon so that no mango would hit on it. i just told her i'll pick it up myself so that i won't cause her the trouble again.

hello brother, What the h*ck (hahaha) Good thing is,it's just a rotten mango..what if it's a newly born rats weiiii (nyayyy) This reminds me of my kids when our dog gave birth, they assisted the birth session. And tried to make a comfortable bed for the puppies. Looking for old clothes, they've found my curtains with old clothes and think that i am giving those curtains since it was inside the box with old clothes that i am going to give for our charity works. They took the curtain because it is bigger and for them it looks more suitable for a comfortable bed for the puppies (it's a cotton curtains with mickey mouse as designs..) They are so happy to tell me the story on how they assisted our dog with the birth, the bed they made and they even cook for the newly mom (hehehe) So,i checked the dog house only to find out my curtains (wahhhhhh) I want to burst out with anger...but i hold my temper...hahhhhh...take a deep breath and scream....that's your curtain...(grrrr) my kids just look at each other and said...but we never saw those curtains for a long time so we thought you're giving those away (weeeeiiiii) Okay...fine...let it be...i don't feel like washing those curtains anymore..let the puppies enjoy those

you now have 13 dogs right jane? hehe i remember when my brother-in-law's dog gave birth to 6 lovely puppies. so precious he didn't have the heart to put them in old clothing materials so he asked the kids to get old towels from the cabinet and lay it in the box where he would place the newborn puppies. after the bit of drama-action-comedy with the dog giving birth, my brother-in-law decided to take a shower to take the stench off from cleaning after the dogs. he couldn't find the towels he used earlier in the day that he placed in the rack just outside the bathroom. guess where his towels went? hehe

Hello Sis, I guess the next time you voluntarily give them or tell them which kind of clothing should be used and not let them look for it. my mom gets mad when ever i give something to my pets like newly cooked food or rice. so, i wait until they become left overs, or if i still have left overs from the fish.

It would be annoying to find one rotten mango amongst the clothes especially when you have to hurry up to visit someone! As of washing it for the second time .... the Automated washing machine i own would do it for me lol!Just put some detergent and wait for its call once its done haha.great day.

Hello Sunnycool, Well, you're lucky to have a washing machine.trouble is that i had to do it manual since washing machine cost water too than manual laundry. the good news is that i didn't have to wash it too long just to remove the mango smell and stain. unfortunately, the clothing got close to the fruit didn't lost that cent.

I hate those kind of surprises! I have a box or two of clothes that are "homeless" and I usually know what's in them but sometimes the kids for whatever reason stick stuff in them like it's a coffee table or something. It's very upsetting to find your clean items with something dumped on them or something yucky like you found. And most recently it has happened to me as I took out a baby blanket I made and I was going to give it away and they put something on it and I had to throw it away as it would never come out... all that hard work on that blanket (crocheted myself by hand) to toss away I was pretty mad!

hi letran wow that must have been a sticky smelly mess. Did you know here in the US and even here In California we have to pay a lot for ripe mangoes which are mostly shipped in from some place in Mexico. You 'have mango trees there? That is so wonderful. i love them but rarely ever get to have one.,I am so glad you finally got the smell of rotten mangoes out of your clothes. Rotten fruit is really a stinky odor and oh my rotten potatoes are the very worst. one had rolled down behind our stove and neither my son nor I had noticed it till it rotted and began making our kitchen stink. this necessitated getting the managers work man to move the stove just enough to get the rotten mush out of there so we could sprinkle baking soda down here to get rid of the last of the odor.Baking soda added to wash water will also clear out unpleasant odors so well.

Hello Hatley, Well, yeah. it's been there since the family bought the house and it's even older than I am. I washed it today and i just put a particular odor that is used for the clothing when ever soap is being washed out, downy i think? Fruits and clothes don't mix that's for sure. or i might end up having ants in teh shorts and shirts, literally

Fresh mango's would be one thing but rotten one, eek that had to be bad. Yes it is a nuisance to have to rewash clothing as once we do our laundry it gives us satisfaction of having accomplished a chore. But twice so bad.

Hello Hardworkinggurl, Well, It was my mom who washed my clothes first. She insisted that she has nothing else to do but wash mine but i know better since it's my clothes. besides, she got her own clothes to washed. i just don't want her getting extremely weak after that worked, which she didn't listen to.
