as the snow melts it gets piled up in revolting grey piles. not just snow - anything cold gets revolting. i cleaned out my relatively new fridge last night and how on earth everything got covered in sticky stuff i have no idea but it took an hour to get the grime off. thank goodness it is too cold for ants. so why does cold attract dirt?

The dirt slows down as it gets colder and the molecules have more opportunity to stick in one place. It may not be much of an answer, but it seems to work. When it is hot the molecules move faster and the dirt just goes on its merry way.

in the country blue bunny the snow stays white and cold and nasty and I left it for the warmer climes of California. South Dakota in the winter snows non stop. Here in sunny California we have no snow only ugly grey yellow smog full of debris and auto exhaust and all sorts of grime that makes sunny california grubby califonia on the number seven grump list.

Snow is beautiful--when I am inside looking out. It falls and piles up all white and clean-looking. then it gets all grimy and gray. Driving turns it into slush. Where I live we watch snow on television--which is fine with me.

that is where it belongs - the telly.
