News paper

India

Though I get national and international news in TV, I buy a newspaper published from my city, there in addition to local, national and international news, I get stories and poems to read. Reading newspaper in the morning with a steaming cup of tea has its own charm. One more point, the cost of newspaper varies from 2 to 4 rupees daily, depending upon number of pages, the monthly dues comes to 85 rupees per month, moreover there is price hike at least twice in a year. I pay 500 rupees as one year subscription at a time, it is valid till December 2011, no problem of paying each month, no effect of price hike. Do you buy news paper daily, pay daily, monthly or once in a year? Do you enjoy reading paper with tea, coffee or some drinks on your drawing room couch or in toilet? Please share. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

I also enjoy reading newspaper but I don't usually buy them. I always borrow it either from my office or my friend's house because I very much love solving those quiz and soduko in the newspaper. I also always look at the vacancies page just in case I found something interesting there and share it with my friends. Have a nice day

my landlord is currently subscribed to one of our local newspapers here and i get my daily news from it. he's paying for it, yes.. i just don't know how much. it's been a long time since the last time i watched news on tv. back at home, my father used to do this so that's when i get to watch it as well.. but now that am working, i just don't have the time. i prefer reading the local news actually but only the good stuff most of the time. i love solving the crossword as well. i sometimes go online and read international stuff but very seldom..

Hi there. For me, I don't really read newspapers but I read news from my mobile. I have AP mobile news so I normally read it. Even at the same time, I will go to Yahoo and get the latest news there. Yes, Newspapers are good in toilet and over a cup of tea...at least for me! :P
