Movies: Do you watch the newest movies right away or wait?

It depends on the movie. I ran out and saw "Legend of the Guardians" and "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" on their opening days. But I avoided pretty much everything else. If I think I might want to see a movie then I might just wait until it reaches the 2nd run theater and I only have to pay a dollar to see it. With everything else I just wait until it comes out on DVD and maybe I'll rent it if I think it might be worth a once-watch. Usually the movies that I immediately ran out and saw in 1st run theaters are the ones that I immediately run out and buy the DVD for.

I love watching movies, especially when I have the time. But I don't usually watch it immediately, I wait for the DVDs. I will be spending more if I watch it the time it was newly released so I'd rather wait for the DVD release to watch it. At least, when I have the DVD, I can watch it every time I want and its mine. =D

I do enjoy going to see movies that I find interesting and such. If I have time, then I might go and see the movie while it's playing in theatres. However, usually, I prefer waiting and just watching a movie, while I'm at home, or something.

i used to wait.but if i know the reviews already, and the movie is really makes me curious, i will watch it right away. like when Eclipse coming in theater. i had read all the reviews about it and i had watch the sneak peaks too. that makes me want to watch it right away

It depends on how well the movie trailer is. If it has a great movie trailer and you can tell about the quality of the movie in the movie cast and who direct it. If it makes a lot of hype I will definitely watch it on cinema. But if its an okay movie then I'll just wait for the DVD release because if its not a blockbuster movie they release the DVD version early, but if it is a blockbuster it will take months before they release the DVD format.

This all depends on how badly i want to see a new movie. If i am too anxious, i have to see it right away. If I am unsure of how I feel about a movie, I will wait a while to see it.

before, I used to go to see new movie at the theater... but now, I can't cuz I have to work late and I have small children. I can rent it or watch online :)... I feel like watching movie at home is very relaxing :)

It really depends on what the movie is. If it is something that I absolutely have to see and have been waiting forever for then I'd go see it the first day it comes out. If it's a movie that I think I might like seeing I'd wait a few days first. I'd wait to hear some reviews for it before deciding to see it or not. And if it is something I absolutely have no interest in then I'll not even bother watching it at the cinema. I'll wait for it to come out on DVD instead.

Hi Jacobus, i like to watch movies but very selected ones. I watch movies in the TV, very rare i will go out watch movies in the theaters. But some of my friends will request me to come to see the movies on the very first day of our favorite actors. I like to go with them and watch movies but i am scared of going out, i don't know i am like that i don't have an habit of going out unless it is very necessary. Have a wonderful day.

No. Once I did so. But now I am very lazy to cook films. Sitting for two hour continuesly is impossible. After coming to online earning time is so important. So I loose interest on films.
