Do You like the new idea of Having a NEW look for Philippine money?

over the years Philippine money has undergone a large changes from its look and uses. Money is such a sign of power for a country so they are continuing to modify it. today i had read a news on ABS CBN site about the new prospect for the new look of our PHP 500 bill which pres. Cory Aquino will be added to it as said for a few months, what do you think of it? and also the existing current bills we have will be recycled for 4 years and maybe thats the time they release new designs for our money, isnt a good idea.
and lastly our peso bills have now the signature of our President Aquino. =)

I just saw this picture. I didn't even realize that they're changing up our money until my brother showed me a picture of the new 500-peso bill. Looks pretty good. I like that Cory Aquino is in there.

I want to see a real one as well. It sort of looks fake to me though it looks good. It's probably because I got so used to our current money.

I heard about this in the news a few hours ago... and i am quite excited to see the new look of our currency... i think it is quite necessary to change things up in out country... and that change should be for the best and not for the worst... the changes in our currency reflexs our history... and adding Cory Aquino to the 500 php bill is a great way of saying that she is someone who changed our history for the better...

I agree and besides what you said they can also put into place new anti counterfeit measures in our new bills for added protection

I think it's good to make changes on our peso bills so that it will looks new for us. Even USA have proposed new dollar bills so much better if Philippines will change also, I am not mean to follow what the American did but better for us if we changes the looks of our money. Here in Saudi Arabia I saw different looks of riyals with the same denominations. This mean they always changes the looks of their money.

I've seen the newly changed money yesterday watching GMANews.tv. They made all of the heroes faces younger and the new Five Hundred pesos was with Cory Aquino and Ninoy is smiling here and is not alone anymore.
The One Thousand Bill was the same but younger faces of heroes printed on it. At the back of each new bills were significant places and animals found in Philippines. It is said that it will be much difficult to fake these kinds of money. That is an advantage at least, the new money is with a purpose of not letting anyone be fooled by any counterfeit money.

i think it is being release today.it's just fine.
nothing is constant in this world except changes.so, it's normal to have changes. if people being convict has the chance to change the court's decision to acquit them so as well as the system of our government to change it worst as we have nowadays.

Well, it's about time they started changing our money here. I've known some people who were victimized by fake 500's. There's been a lot of fake money makers out there and this would really hit them. THey should be put to circulation right away..it's nice that it has the signature of the President
Probably it would put store owners at ease and not to look at it all the time.

fake 500 peso bill has been all around our country and now that there are new 500 peso bill its a great help for the store owners and sellers, makers of counterfeit money would have a long time before making some fake of it. and we will now see our bills with the new president signature. yeepee!

I am excited also to see the new look of our Philippine money. Former President Cory's picture is just proper to be added because for me she changed the history by her bravery in leading the people to fight for our democracy. It is of course also appropriate that PNoy's signature be there, since he is the present president now that the new look is to be adapted.
