Running Out Of Ideas - tips, anyone?

This evening I made BBQ chicken pizza with onion, mozza cheese, green pepper, bbq sauce, chicken, and mushrooms. It was delicous. So, altogether, I made donair pizza, veggie supreme pizza, and pepperoni with veggies. I use a pizza stone, so I make professional-style pizza. I'm looking for more ideas for a combination of toppings I can use (but I don't use pork products or olives, or seafood) Any tips would definitely be helpful! :-)

Have you tried the Chicken Alfredo Pizza? Or maybe a Taco pizza? Or a cheeseburger pizza? I have tried those..they were okay. I haven't tried the sloppy joe pizza yet though..lol..it is sprinkled with shredded cheddar instead of mozzarella. They are tons of recipes out there for different pizzas even a Philly cheese-steak pizza..which you can make easy..just by slicing a steak really thinly while it is still half frozen..I hope you are able to come up with some new and interesting ideas.

Cheddar? I find it gets really greasy after melted, even if it's cooled. The Taco pizza sounds good, but Sloppy Joe sauce is very salty. I was thinking about the Chicken Alfredo, it's a lovely sauce, but not many people like it. Parmasean Cheese with onions and green peppers, hmmmm....

That is the best thing about being able to get reduced fat cheeses they aren't as greasy..but still have the flavor. And for the sloppy joes..could used the low sodium or make it homemade..which is good because you control what and how much goes into it. My husband would rather have a homemade pizza then a store bought one. Have you thought of a Tex-Mex or Mexican pizza? Here is a link I found that might help you with some ideas..or so I hope..good luck on your adventure of trying new pizzas... : http://www.recipepizza.com/toppings/mexican_pizza.htm

I know here in Canada we do have Tex-Mex shredded cheese, an it's lovely on salads. Thanks for that recipe site, I'll bookmark it. Ya, home-made pizza's way better than even the stuff you buy from the local pizza shop. It's not as greasy, and also not as hard as the frozen pizza crust.

I would use your donair sauce and top it with spinach squeezed dry and chicken.Mozzarella Cheese, and some Parmesan cheese. you could add mushrooms, and onions and. . . I thought pepperoni was pork. I would do beef, green peppers and maybe broccoli. Actually anything is good made as a pizza.

Yeah, you can get all-beef but you have to look carefully for it. I seen broccoli before on pizza, but never tried it.

I so love my sausage pizza but I have had simply onions, cheese and hot peppers. Sort of spicy for the kids but it is another idea. Enjoy your pizza making.

Hubby likes jalepino peppers on his Subway sandwiches, so I'll ask him if he'd like me to add hot peppers on his side of the pizza, thanks :-)

I definitely love pizza! We just had pizza dinner last night. I really love mushrooms so why not an all-kinds-of-mushroom type of pizza? Button mushrooms, shitake mushrooms, etc as toppings with mozza cheese, of course!

Hmm, I didn't realise there was different kinds of edible mushrooms, maybe I can look around for a different variety for a change.

Hello Masihi, i love pizza, as i said long ago. In my city we have pizza restaurant, where they make great pizza, large ones and with so many stuff on it. I love the one with fish tuna and crayfishes, also they put mushrooms on it. It's normal tomatoes sauce, but the taste of the fish tun? is driving me crazy. They put so much on the pizza, that i feel only that taste, it's great. If it's not with fish, i would like pizza with vegetables - i love it with tomatoes sauce, parts of bakes pepper, sweet corn and yellow cheese. I've never done pizza at home, but i know how to make dough so soon i'll have to make home made one and for sure i'll make something with vegetables.

I love pizza and we actually had it tonight for dinner! We put all kinds of stuff on our pizza and actually prefer when we make it homemade so we can put our own toppings on it. I love spinach pizza. I make it with a white sauce, spinach of course, and parm cheese..yummy!

I love pizza! I suppose you could but pretty much anything on one. The best pizza I ever had was in a restaurant in or near Hastings, England (I was taken by my sister who lived in Battle at the time). This was more like a savory cheese cake with no tomato, thick cheese stuff and seafood. Yeah, I know you said no seafood but you could try the same idea with something else. Sorry I don't know how it was made. Another interesting pizza was made by one of the more expensive restaurants in Calgary. It's topping had bree cheese, pear and caramelized onion. Sounds weird but it tasted good.
