This is some old urban legend my boss told me (isn't it weird, my boss told me an urban legend) I consider this an Urban legend since i have no idea whether this is real or not but its authenticity is not what its all about, Its more of the story's very haunting lesson.
There is a man who is sleeping next to his wife in the middle of the night, he heard noises downstairs and it woke him up. He assumed its a burglar so he gets his shotgun, the noise is from the garage so he rushed there and he saw a youngman doing something to his car, He shot him right away and the man died. The "intruder" is actually his only son cleaning his car as a surprise for father's day.

That is a very sad story. I can easily imagine the father's feelings when he discovered that he had shot his own son. The story might not be true, but it is still an important warning and it tells us what can happen if we are too fast and don't think about the consequences of our actions. Maybe the father in the legend was afraid that the "intruder" would harm him and maybe he shot him, because his fear made him act without thinking, but it is still a very tragic story.
