Lucky 13..... yes, yes, yes.

Hi Shibham, Yes, I have just one 13th related to me... My brother's wife was born on 13th Oct. That is all there is about 13th. I do believe that the dates have some significance with a persons life but till now I have not been able to realize that with my life. I still believe that it is a kind of superstition or something. I remember a thread started about Tuesdays being bad. I could only say that it depends on someone's bad experience that day or may be a community as a whole. I believe in one thing though - the thing that has to happen would happen and at its pre-determined time no-matter what you or we mortals may do. I think we are all already planned out and scheduled for things by the Almighty up somewhere - call him God, Allah or even Jesus or nothing... Hiya richnai, That is something I did not know that you cannot find a 13th floor in any of the Buildings not so over here as they don´t take it so seriously as the UK and America do. Well I never. I have never given it a thought until you mentioned it. If I go to the States one Day I will remember that thanks very much.

I'm not one to believe in lucky or unlucky numbers, its too random to think that it means something. I know that a certain date can be associated with good or bad days but 13 is just a number. I used to work in a tall building that had over 40 floors but it didn't have a number 13 on the row of buttons. I like the number 7 because its my birthday, that's about it.

Hi dear, I never have a mis conception on any numbers. All numbers are fine for me and I found no reason to discriminate any of the numbers of any reasons. All these are some kind of faith and if logically think there is no point in thinking so. Someone sometime have mentioned some stories based on some incidents and now it become so cruel to make such treatment to some of such numbers. Here also you proved that there is no meaning in saying so. So, think properly then you realize that it is nothing related to it. If some BAD incident is happened in your life any of the days, say 7th, of a particular month, can you day all the 7s are bad for you. NO. In no way it is connected to anything. If we got 30-31 days in a month, the particular incident SHOULD happen in any of these days. So, relax and all days and numbers are equal. If you don’t think so, I am helpless. Thank-s

I quite honestly cannot recall anything that hasto do with the date of the 13th. A lot of people say that friday the 13th is the worst, people do see number 13 as unlucky but i am not sure why. To me that is just a number or a date, why should it be unlucky? I have no idea at all how this all started with the number being unlucky, i am glad though that you show that there is a difference to the number 13, but i guess it is just drilled into our heads from an early age that the number is unlucky, i feel we make our own luck and so i do not believe in the fact tht that one number is an unlucky one, well not until im proven wrong which so far has not happened yet, surely it has to be with our own experiences rather than others before we can call it unlucky. What about all the people who's home is number 13, what if they have never had any bad luck. So i guess it really does depend on our own experiences.

Yes, I am also happy to say Lucky 13! In my family people were born on either the 13th or the 7th and I was one of the lucky 13th, together with my younger brother, you celebrated his birthday just a week ago!

I never had much problem with 13 either sometimes things going a bit different on Friday 13th but not bad or anything, just 'different' especially if new moon or full moon happens on that day

iam one that started a discussion about whether or not its a lucky number about a yr ago. most of my responses on here end up being number 13. id say 4 out of 5 times and my first real house/home that belonged almost to me except the bank actually owned it... had 13 as the beginning of the address. so maybe its lucky? lol

I don't believe that number 13 is unlucky or anything that believe this number is not good. As far as I am is concern. There is no number or any letter or character denoted something that show unlucky present bad events. If happen it happen. If not happen it will not be happen...

Well I don't really believe in having the number 13 is a bad thing. In fact, the number 3 is good to me as it brings me good luck LOL. So, this's just a matter of whether you believe or not. If you don't believe that it'll bring you bad luck, then you'll be fine as it is.

It's just a number, like all others for me, nothing special with it. The only remarkable event I can remember of in a 13th day was my born, February 13, but I'm not more luckly or unlucky because of that, it may even happened on 12 or 14. Wheater is good to be born or not in the first place is another topic. I see that only as a myth, nothing more. And a nice entertainment for superstitious people.

Numbers can't do anything in our life becoz we are the one who makes decisions, Number 13 is my fave number under this number something wonderful happened to me in the 13th day. That's why i don't understand why some establishment don't put this number but if you are going to count the floors or doors you can still finds number 13 though they put number 14 on it :D. The 13th is a special date for me as well. It is a lucky 13 for me too. I don't believe about such numbers being unlucky and up to now I still wonder who the heck ridiculously thought of having no 13th floors on buildings! I mean wtf? Even if you call it the 14th floor, it still is the 13th.

Hello Shibham, If anybody believes that this number is unlucky then their experience will be like that only. If you consider it as lucky you may get fortunes only on 13. I never believe that number 13 is unlucky because I born on this date and I married on this date. Number if 13 is a date in calendar like any other dates. Human beings are the culprit to make this number unlucky.

I don't pay attention to silly superstitions. I can't remember one day from the next to tell you the truth. I'm really poor with numbers. I never really understood why 13 was unlucky anyway. No one could ever tell me why.

Hi shibham, Who said 13 is an unlucky number? Perhaps some superstitious souls. And people still believe that 13 is an unlucky number. Like yours 13 is a lucky number for me too. My son was born on 13th March and certain other things that went in my favor had occurred on this day as well.

13 has no significance to me. I don't consider it unlucky or lucky either. I just think it is a number. However, to some, they associate it with evil things. The horror movies affected people's perception about this number. There's also the Friday the 13th, which i used to fear when I was a kid but realized there's no truth to it.

13 may be an unlucky number in traditional western culture. It doesn't apply in all circumstances. For example, if 13 appears in the lottery jackpot number, choosing the 13 can bring luck to you then. You will say it's unlucky not to choose 13.
