Do you do everything for money?

Money can buy things but not everything. Love relationships friends... are these things product that purchasable ? Could only the money be the cause of happiness for someone?
Money can buy you all material things.. But can it buy you good heart, true relationship, true love?
So what we do in our life is not only for money. Money is important but money is not all. We need some thing other than money what we can't buy with money.
Now my question is whether you do everything only for money?

Giving everything for money is not good. You should have trusted God because its just a trial or situation that you need to past. You shouldnt worship any material things because it is already stated in the bible.

Money makes life easier....
You can have a standing in the society when you have enough money to donate.
You can have any girl you want when you have money to spend on them.
You can have the best medical / health care in the world if you have much money.
You can travel to all over the world when you are bored in staying in one place.
You can make money work for you, so you don't have to work anymore.
And when you get to the Donald Trump or Bill Gates level.... who knows?

Money make life easier. So main fact and goal should be life. Life is facilitated with money. But if we are mad after money and keep money in prime position than the life I think that is not healthy mentality. I never deny the necessity of money. Necessity of money is unquestionable but some people has passion in earning money. They can do every thing for money. So important of earning money and passion with money is different. We all do for money but we should not do anything for money.

For me money is not everything and can't solve all my problems. The happiness of owning so much money diminished by as much fear and worry about losing them. The worries keep mounting and at the end of the day the fear and unhappiness will lead many to mental asylum. But having less money gives us a lot of miseries in life.

It is very critical to describe role of money in life. No one can deny importance of money. Without money or with less money life is very very difficult. So people try to earn much more money. It is not bad to try to increase earning. But money can't be the only goal of life. When we have excessive desire towards money and we take it as passion to earn money then the value of life looks lower than money. Money is need but money can't be the life.
We all do thing for money but we can't do everything ( anything) for money.

You have noted a good point here. Money is the concept. Once, at the early stage of human civilization there was no money. Money is invented as medium of exchange. To facilitate the exchange money is invented. Money was used to facilitate life. But day by day money gaining power. Now somehow it looks like we the human are going be slave of money. And if money gaining more value then it devaluate the value of human. If money rules over human than human have to loose it's identity.
As we all know than we all works for money. Bur what we do let us decide. If we do anything for money then we have to loose our desire and identity. In that situation no ethics left in human civilization.

Oh no...Come to think of it most of what I do each and every day is unpaid! I take care of my family and for that I have given up a career for a while. I am here a lot and goodness knows it is not for the money! I gave up doing things for monetary values only, because as much as I need cash, it is not the only thing which will bring me happiness.

What you said unpaid is actually highly paid. What we do for family, near and dear one, to the society is actually returned to us with something, that is more valuable than the money. In fact love, affection, respect has also value. May it not be calculated with material value but need need something beyond matter. Something has no monetary value but those are precious than money. Money can't buy those thing. Along with money we need those thing and balance of both brings real happiness.

Wouldn't mind working my a$$ off to earn money ... at the same time i do not wish to lay my hands over money which isn't mine.As of friendships and love ... it isn't in ones hand.What i believe in is every thing is destined,it would be mere stupidity to go against it.great day.

Human's can never be satisfied with what they have got --- at the same time we cannot blame them for being greedy as they thrive in for a better life every second.

hmmm, I do everything for money because I have a wife and I love her. If I have no money, sure she will leave me! That's why, for me - Money is important to be able to take the relationship go long and maybe forever...

In doing for money have you pay attention towards the way?

Nope, doing everything for money makes me look very materialistic and greedy. Personally, I believe that if you do something beneficial and it's of help to the other person, he thanks you gratefully, I think that's even better than having received money. Seriously, when someone thanks us with the bottom of his heart, how will we feel? Obviously, we'll be happy right? When we are happy, it's as if we've struck the lottery.

You have the exact point here. Something beneficial may be for me, but we need to care about what impact lays this on other people, is also matter of concern here, before to be done by us. A wish full thank, a smile of greeting, well wish from noble heart are those thing can't be brought by money. Money makes us happy. It is right but only money is not the cause of all happiness.

Oh no. Of course not. I do a few online things that bring in a few dollars month, and then I crochet and do crafts that also bring in another few dollars a month. But, many of the thing I crochet are given to charity or to my family and friends, because I love them. Not for money.

I know without a shadow of a doubt that I don't do everything in my life for money. If every decision that I made in my life was about money then my life would be a lot different than the life that I have at this point in my life. I wouldn't be married to the person that I am married to because lord knows there are a lot of people that make a lot more money than he makes. I also wouldn't be a stay at home mother because we would be able to make a lot more money if I was working outside the house.

Yes that's the right way of life. We should master money but we should be aware that money can't master us. Undoubtably money is important but importance of money doesn't means that we all turn into a money orient person who gives no impotentce to other than money. The decision of doing anything is our own. And what we do that must gives us money . But what we do, is our own decision, not the decision of money. I think I am able to express clearly what am I want to mean.

I know money is not every thing its just a tool needed in this world to do stuff.Like buy food,pay your bills,and other things we need to fuction in this world.The problem comes when people forget the reason they are working to get the money like to take care of your family.Also money can buy some peace and happynes since if you know you have the money to pay your bills,buy food for your family and do stuff with your family it helps lots.Also on the other side of the coin if you do not have enough money to pay your bills or medical bills then its hard to be happy.Since the doctors cost to dam much so its hard when you do not have the money for medical bills or can't afford your pills you need to live.Also even tho some females may not like this most will not date a guy that does not have money and if you have money you have friends even if they are just using you for your money.
Also think of all of the familys that have sick family members but can't afford to go to the doctor to get help.Do you think money would bring them some joy and peace if they had the money for the doctor to help their family.
Its when people start to love money instead of remembering it is just a tool that we need to live and fuction in this money driven world that we have problems.One example is people that work too much and loos site of the reason the work in the first place is to provide a better life for their family but if they never spend any time with their family then problems start.

Well, we all know Money is important. But, I do not do everything for money. I would think before hand, if I would be degrading my self or anything, if I do I back off and forget about the cash. Money is just money; But dignity is more than the value of any paper bill. Hope it helps. Happy Mylotting.

Money is nothing but means. Agreeing that money plays important role in life we can say money is not everything. Proper management and utilization of money can make people happy but happiness may vanish if we rush after money in extreme greediness.

It is nice to have money, and yes many people that don't have it or have very little would like more. To be able to know that you do not have to get yourself into debt to get something you want would be a great feeling. I have always stated and will always state that money can never ever buy love and happiness. They do not come witha price tag. I would always choose love and happiness over money every time. There are many people with money that are so sad and lonely, yet you also get many people with little or no money or even in debt, but are still happy as they have the love from there partner, family and friends. Money helps us to stay alive for food drink and warmth, but love truly does conquer all.

As you said money is need. As commodity is purchased by money , so money mitigate our material needs. Thus money has material importance. But all needs of life is not material thing. And we needs some things in life, that is not purchasable by money. So only money never should be the goal of human life.

I do almost nothing for money it seems. I'm unemployed at the moment because I'm a student. I tell myself I'll be able to make money after I graduate. I hope this is true because the job market doesn't look so hot. I don't really worry about money that much because there's no use. It's just added stress. At the very least I'm not in credit card debt like all of my siblings are. I know how to save what little I make.

Hi Aaleexix! I believe that money is not everything. However, money has become a main source of agony for those that doesn't have money. People who are born into the 3rd world countries are unlucky and they are suffering because of hunger. Not only hunger but many other factors like diseases and very poor living conditions. The rich just gets richer and the poor just gets poorer. Money shouldn't be our first priority in life and should never be. Money can buy materialistic things but can never buy love, happiness and friends. People that are willing to accept your money to be friends with you aren't real friends.

Without money no one can live in present age. Money is the means of all. But how much we need and how are we deserve is the main question. Actually what we earn in life is proportionate to our ability. But if we want to earn more than our capability then we have to choose wrong way. And thus we do as money say. So I want to say that if we do every thing means anything for money then it will effect on our quality.

While other people may find the saying sometimes unbelievable that money is the end and be all of everything, it holds true. One person may have everything in life as far as material possession is concerned. But there are times that they are not happy inside. Money can only give you momentary happiness but not eternal one. The best thing that we should do is to make money work good for us and not be enslaved by it.

Well said that money is one means of management of life. Money is needs. But in search of money if we ignore other eternal things like responsibility, emotion and ethics then whole world will turn into a tasteless mechanical system and mankind turn into a money production machine. Happiness of life is in well combination of material and mantel satisfaction. Though money is the main important thing to live the life but only money can't make anyone happy.

No and I never felt like I was doing everything for money. I definitely do not use money to say sorry and to say I love someone as well. I agree with you that money can't buy everything, though some people think they can buy happiness and love. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Yes some people think that money is the soul of happiness. If that is right then there would be none who is unhappy in rich community. But in practical happiness is not solo property of rich but so many people are there happy even they have not sufficient money.

I don't think money is the priority in my life. I mean, If I had to choose between money and family, i'd choose family, or money and love, id choose love. Because no matter how much money youve got, It's not that good if you dont have anyone to share it with, travel, have fun and all that stuff

Money need to be controlled by us and we should not allow money to lead us. We all need money so we need to earn money. But it is just need not master of us. If we allow to mastered us by money then we are being slave money and we are going to do anything for money.

Money can't buy us everything but it sure does help. No one takes second look at a hobo sitting on the street do they? Rich people don't hang out with the lower class do they? People are cut and divided into social class, in that social class you figure out who your real friends are. Whether we like it or not we have to accept it. That's just the way life is.

Being rich and trying to be rich is not bad at all. But the way to the target is the matter of concern here. What way we select to be rich is considerable. If we all decide to do anything, any way we want to be rich then what happen to the society. Decent way of earning money or hard working for earning more is appreciable. But in greediness if we choose wrong way ( doing anything for money)social calamities comes to our society.

No I don't do everthing for money. Money makes the world go round, this can be in a good way or a bad way. Money does not buy you everything, but you need it to buy the things that you do need. There would be no amount of money I would except for the love that I have for my family, you just can't by that kind of love.
