I was just sitting here saying one of my silent prayers. I was saying thank you for all of the joy I have in my life. Thank you for the joy I feel when my daughters face lights up when I am cooking white rice for dinner! I know it sounds simple but it's her favorite. I am thank for when my son calls me from college to say he passed his mid-term in math, the one class he was having so much problem in. Thank you for allowing my hubby and I to be on the same page in our relationship. I have so many wonderful things in my life that bring me so much joy. Creating my new business has brought me so much joy sometimes i still can't believe I am on my way to getting this thing done!!! So what brings you joy in your life? Please share... You never know if your joy will help someone else find theirs!

I'm not sure what brings me joy, I guess writing does. I enjoy it and when I feel like I've written something really good I feel good about it. I don't do it for money or fame, although its nice to get paid for writing, I think its more of way to expose my God given talent. I'd rather be a life changing author than a best selling one.

Feeding a poor. Teaching a child and watching her trying to read and write. Drizzle. Rain. The sound of Daddy from my daughter. And the sound of Dear from my wife. Good books. Great movies. The fine gestures of my friends. Improvement in my business. Knowing that I am healthy. And this beautiful world. All these things bring me joy without fail dear. And of course discussions like this which brings out the joy in me.

As many know i work with children with autism. I started with one little boy when he was 2 years old and he was non-verbal. He remained silent until he was 3 years, 8 months and 13 days old. On that day he spoke his first word, 'eat.' Since that day his language is developing and growing slowly but surely. He's singling along to songs, and puttin 3 and 4 words into simple sentences. Every time I hear his voice it brings me joy. It's a sound I thought I may never hear and it's the most beautiful sound in the world.

BEING VERTICAL....AND ABOVE GROUND!! Y'know me momma, gotta look at the lighter side! I truly appreciate everything in life, but it's the really, really small things that bring me joy, things that make me laugh from the inside out...like watching the pesky little red squirrels pelting my dog with pine-cones, from the safety of his tree...and my poor doggie, wondering where the heck...this unusual rain is coming from! OR the next door neighbours little "kid" goats jumping up and down off the back of my big sheep "Rambo"...and he looking at them in disgust but being totally tolerant. I can find "joy" in such small things, I think I wasted about two hours watching a male "Flicker" (bird) courting two females...it was pure joy, watching him preening and strutting his stuff! I had a friend that loaned me a "time lapse" camera...the joy in watching a flower unfurl...unbelievable! Happy season...and Cheers!

Hi there, To be very frank I am not so sure actually what brings me joy. It is possibly the task that I have accomplished or my son doing better in the exam or something of this sort. I think the definition of happiness is different for different people.
