Commenting on photos on mylot

I just noticed along the tabs on mylot there is photos. I clicked to view others photos and see a ton of them. I am enjoying going through the photos that are on there and leaving comments. I know that pretty much everything we do on mylot earns us money so I am guessing by leaving comments on these photos I will be earning money as well. I find this fun. I'm already obsessed with mylot this is just going to make my obsession worse lol.
I am always looking for new discussions to leave comments on but sometimes I just cant seem to find anymore for me to comment on so then I move to another earning site until later on or the next day. Now I can just go search through the pictures and see what I can comment on there.
I still prefer to comment on discussions over pictures though.

i don't put a lot of pictures here, i got only few on flowers and my cat, which i love really much 
But you are totally right, sometimes i can't find discussions, where to response too. I so much want to write, sometimes, here, around, i got questions or am ready to answer, but just check my interests and first pages are full with topics of same people sometimes, which is boring for me. I got something in mind always when i come and it's a rule for me - never answer to person, who posted 5-6 discussions in a row in one section. It's just killing me when someone flood all first page in some section with only his own discussions. Even if they are with interesting topics, i never answer. For me that's disrespect for the other members, who just finished some interesting discussion, but somehow the other person, flooding the first page is moving them on the second page, where usually people don't check.
I don't use other websites, like Mylot. I like it here, what i do when i don't find interesting topics to write for is i'm going to do something at home, which is important too - cooking, washing plates or laundry. 
That's how my days are totally full filled.

I dont mind if people start many discussions then it just gives me more to comment on. I just created two discussions this morning but one was in the craft category and one was in the mylot category so I wasent cluttering up the page. I understand what your saying but to me thats not a big deal. I like when I am friends with someone and they post a lot of discussions each day because then I get the notification in my inbox that they have created a discussion and often I comment on it.

Sure, it's that way and i agree for the friends, but since i had problems with one discussion, which i wanted to post a comment in, and only an hour later it was hard for me to find it, because someone posted around 10 and all of them was on the first page in the same category, i was little angry.
I post few discussions a day too, around 2 or 3, but really rare it's in the same category and in row. Usually my ideas come in mind when i read and read or when something in real life is happening.

I used to just have ideas that would pop into my head all the time but they were pretty boring discussions. The ones that I come up with now are pretty much about what is going on in my life. Yes sometimes its hard to find discussions after we have commented on them. Your best bet is to bookmark it or to do a search for that topic and hope you can find the discussion that way.

Hi Shaggin,
I do not have a digital camera yet and that is a pity. My earlier set of photos that I captured using the traditional camera, got stolen some years back - there was a robbery at our place about 10 years back and much of my collection was gone
.
But yes, I have some craze for photography and once I have the camera, I think, I would use the options and upload a few from my set.
I have just started commenting on pics - especially the ones that are close to nature

Thats nice that you are enjoying viewing all the nature pictures. Do you comment on them and notice any difference in your earnings or do you just like to view them? That is so sad that someone stole your camera and you have never been able to get another one. I love taking pictures I would be lost without my camera.

Well I was wrong. There were a few people who told me that we dont earn points from commenting on photos but I really thought we would. I found in my experience yesterday that we do not earn from commenting on photos. I was hoping it was something I could do when I cant find anymore discussions to comment on and still earn points but thats not the case. Sorry I misinformed you.

Hi shaggin, I would feel bored at time if I couldn't find any discussion which interests me. I dislike to waste my spare time to rack my brains to think of something to write about just for posting. Only topics which I have more to share with and talk about would bring great pleasure and fun to me 
I like to add comment on photos attached in the discussion I replied if I really have something to talk about. Other than commenting on photos in my interests, I sometimes respond to old discussions which strike my fancy lol...I don't mind some of them that have zero responses sitting there for years as long as I could enjoy the fun to express my feeling and idea relaxingly

I love to comment on discussions. I to enjoy reading old discussions. I feel bad when I see good discussions from years back that never got any comments. It doesnt matter to me how old a discussion is I still comment on it if I have anything to say. I was wrong about the earnings from commenting on pictures though.

On the earnings page there is no mention of earning for commenting on photos:

Regarding earning from posting photos we are told:
"You will be compensated for each photo added to a discussion or to an interest."

I see that you experimented too and as myLot puts the emphasis on discussions, your results do not surprise me

The guidelines are not clear as to how the photo earning is so I have asked several old timers on here. From what I understand is that you specifically earn from photos when members comment on them. Not the commenter but the uploader.
Also when our uploaded photos get used in discussion then the uploader also earns. So if this is incorrect can you let me know as I always try and comment on photos in discussions.
I also know there is a limit as to how many you are allowed to upload as I have seen many discussions that they have exceeded the limits but no one seems to know what that limit is. Apparently there is a limit and the members are unhappy about it.

Someone sure likes watches. As I go through the photos theres tons of pictures of watches. Oh my gosh I'm so sick of looking at watches lol.
I cant say for sure but I dont think that you earn money for people leaving you comments on your pictures just as you dont earn money for people leaving comments on your discussions. As far as everything else on mylot what we do is how we earn. If we dont leave comments or upload photos etc then we dont earn unless we have active referrals under us.

I remember years ago when I only had dial up. Anything I did online took so long it was horrible. It costs so much more for cable internet but its worth it to have the speed not be so slow anymore. I was proved wrong. We earn money for adding photos to our discussions but we dont earn money for leaving comments on others photos like I thought we did.

Yes, uploading relevant photos and commenting on them is counted as one of your mylot activities and you earn a little more.

We do earn from uploading pictures to our discussions and to interest categories but I found that we do not earn money by simply commenting on pictures that other put in their discussions or interests. I guess I thought wrong but at least now I know.

I also upload photoes and comments on photoes, it is fun as well as earnings.
