What do you feel when you hear some Rigntones?

Hello Chaitra, Well i really don't care about their ringtones as long as it will not annoys me :D, but if they should put their mobile in silent mode and yet they did not do it i feel bit irrated :D. But someone frowns at me when they hear my ringtone "Dailamo dailamo" maybe becoz they are not familiar with it heheeh!. have a nice day!

Hiya chaitra, Personally I really don´t mind them as I quite like to hear them. Like listening to the different tones they have for some pieces of music and famous songs. Most of them are quite original so for me they can have their phones going all Day long. But to be fair for anyone who works and has to put up with that all Day long must be quite tiresome for them at the end of the Day. Mostly I get to hear them when I am out Shopping find them entertaining really do.xxx

I used to use many different ringtones on my mobile phone. I would load one and after a few days, I would find it became annoying, so then load another one. In the end I stopped changing them and now have one of classical music that isn't too annoying or irritating. I don't change nowadays at all, and if I do get annoyed by the one I got, I will go back to just and ordinary ring.. _Derek

It's annoying and disturbing if it's not a good or familiar tune.

It's a very bad practice so irritating. Unless it is a great audio, I prefer to keep my cellphone silent...

I think the ringtones can make your cellphone much more special than other cellphones. It can also represent your personality. I like to have my own ringtones. So when my cellphone rings, I know it's a call for me. I love China

i will automatically turn my face to the ring tones. and when i am in the middle of my work, i will feel annoy. but when i heard it in the end of my work or when i need some refreshment, i guess the ring tones would help me to take a break. maybe the timing is important to me.

Hi chaitra, In the past I often used to change my ring tones but now no longer in such things. Some ring tones are good to listen to but some are just cacophony. Besides some people keep the volume so loud that it catches your ear. People are really horrible sometime.

On my part it does depend on the kind of ring tones that i hear. Well, i find some of it irritating and some are pleasing to hear.

I guess like what you have said, it depends on what you are doing. If I am concentrating on something... Of course, I do get irritated with ringtones! Most especially if the owner of the phone has a caller that is very persistent! However,there are some days when I do enjoy the ringtones, most especially the funny ones :)

It is like blow of horn. Irritating but important for them whose call is coming. Many people does not keep their cell in silent mode. There are lot of reason. Because when people are busy then if the cell is kept is silent mode then where is a chance of missing the call. You can say why not keep they their cell in vibration. Many people think that vibration is harmful to the body so they don't want to keep their cell vibration mode.

it's really irritating when i need to hear the same ringtone again and again.it will make me sick if i need to listen to the bad full song/ringtones.good and nice ringtones are excluded~

My brother has the Dexter theme song as his ring tone and I always think of the show like Hey you're watching without me? when I hear it. I was going through my ring tones in Ruddock House at Caltech and the Ride of the Valkries came on. When it played one of the Rudds was like um, I'm supposed to shower you, but I think I'm too lazy. Lol. I thought only the Moles (Blacker House) did that. Some background: the Ride of the Valkries is a song they blast at 7 in the morning every single morning during Finals week to wake people up and when they hear it outside of then they have to shut it down.

Actually I don't really mind when I hear any ringtones, even though I am working, I usually won't be disturbed by the sounds. Also, most ringtones nowadays are nice songs, so sometimes it can be quite soothing or entertaining. Sometimes I think the ringtone can represent someone too. I set the music "Fur Elise" for my ringtone when my husband calls, and all my colleagues already knew that, so when they heard Fur Elise, they knew it's my phone ring.

I don't care, but I think its funny when they start to scramble for their phone and try to turn it off or answer it when everybody is looking at them. If that happened to me I would freak out and act like a major emergency happened so I wouldn't feel so embarrassed that my phone went off in public.

A majority of the time it is just plain annoying but it really depends on the place and situation. If it is supposed to be a quiet time or I'm in the middle of doing something, a loud ringtone can be very distracting. But there are some times when I'm actually intrigued by someone's tone. I might hear some song or music that I like and that makes me want to go listen to it.

Hi chaitra~ I would have to agree that it is rude sometimes to hear some of the more annoying ring tones go off, especially when you are doing something important! I also don't understand why people can't put the phone of vibrate or at least keep the ringer volume down when in public places out of respect for others. I also find people who feel the need to have loud and lengthy conversations about "nothing" on public transportation really rude!

There are some good ringtones out there, sometimes it is great to hear a phone go off as the music could be great. There are a few out there that don't personalise their ringtones and so they stick with what comes with the phone which is a shame as some of them really are awful. I like the fact that we can have our favourite songs on our phone.

For me a ringtone is just a daily part of our life. You have to live with it since this is part of the advancement of technology.
