Too cold , fire and my spectacles

Since last one week, the weather is cold, 
but here in my daughter’s town it appears to be more, last night the lowest temperature was 5.8 degrees Celsius.
In the even
ing I saw groups of people sitting near fire burning logs of wood. This morning when I tried to talk, condensed water vapor appeared to come out, my spectacle glass was always wet due to such vapor too.
I understand 5.8 Celsius is not a low temperature for my friends abroad, but for Indians it is.

hi professor oh today is the first day for seven straight days of
pounding rain and temps around forty five degrees Fahrenheit. I
had my space heater on most of the time.we had a lot of damage
here in California with flooding and mudslides, people lost their
homes. Here in C alifornia I feel like I am freezing when it goes
down to fifty as we are used to warmer temperatures. we have not
had this much rain in some twenty odd years and sadly it going to
start again with a new storm coming in tomorrow Christmas day eve.My
son is coming to see me today instead of tomorrow because the buses are few on Christmas day.Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you and your family too. hugs from hatley.

OMG Professor! Even 5 degrees celsius is very hold for us here
in NY where I live! It has been in the 30 degrees during the day
and then the teens at night and that is quite cold. Factoring in
the wind it can really get alot colder, but so far we haven't gone
below zero yet! We also haven't had a "real" snow yet either, but
I know that's coming too! We had a 2 inch snow about 2 weeks ago
and that was a surprise! I had no idea that it got so cold ever
in India! You must be very miserable. I hate being cold more
than being hot! Cold hurts and as I have gotten older my body
just can't withstand the cold temperatures any longer. Please
try and stay warm my dear Professor~

YUp,lately also my local weather is cold and wet especially in the wee morning and it rain , the coldness is more than the previous few years.Thinking about it the weather is little extreme, when it is hot it is hot and wetter than usually.At night no need to switch on the ceilling fan it is cold enough.Many people are having cough and flu too.2010 is the extreme weather for my county here.
