All the money that we pay and there is nothing interesting on to watch. It is Christmas and New Years viewing and yet they have not put much on the tv.I have looked on all sky channels and yet nothing at all interests me.I am so bored of all the things that they put on tv.

L.O.L. I know exactly how you feel!! All the Christmas shows were on way before the Holidays, and now it seems like everything is a repeat or just nothing there worth watching at all!! There is over 900 channels here and I can never find anything on television worth while to be watching at all!! It seems like a waste of money just to have cable anymore!!

Makes you think what we are paying all the money for dont it really.I have seen a load of rubbish on the tv all day as well as all night. The childrens channel seems like it has more on them than the channels us adults want to watch. All the soaps are full of doom and gloom and they are getting rather boring now as well.

L.O.L. It's sad when we have to resort to watching the kids shows!! Sesame Street and all the other cartoons!! But they really don't make cartoons like they used to either and Sesame Street has changed as well!! I agree 100% why are we paying all this money and what for?

I must say that I feel the same way. During this school holidays, they are showing repeats of children's show all the time. I can't believe we are paying for this. On top of that, there is really nothing very interesting. I'm not much of a TV fan. I'd rather spend my time writing or reading. But my hubby is a soccer fan, and subscribed to the soccer channels, the reason why we engaged the cable. If not for this, I would have just chosen to watch the free channels.

I think that all the free channels are the ones that do have better things on them.I can not see why they put the tv licence up so much to watch all these repeats as well as aload of really old films.I think that there are more entertaining things going on when it comes to the childrens channel as well as less repeats, lol, not that i watch childrens tv.

Maybe you should rent some movies, or get Netflix if you can. When I'm bored with TV sometimes I'll watch an instant movie on Netflix. Sometimes they're good, sometimes they are not. They also have seasons of shows on there, with some pretty good ones on now, like Weeds, Veronica Mars, 24, Bones, Criminal Minds, Law & Order SVU, etc. Or you could do something else instead of watch TV.. Something more productive, like earning online!

Ilol I know what you mean, it's because we have already seen the movies on there from previous years. It's great for the kids though they enjoy anything with Santa in it lol.

oh, maybe you're sad and bored now. because tv programs are very many and they're very rich about contents. I think that you can find a program which is suitable with you.

I know exactly what you mean, Christmas is the worst time of the year for televisions. All the movies are re-runs, and 90% of them are really sweet, but boring stories about Santa and children and family love and so on; the news programs don't have anything interesting to report, it's like the whole world stands still for a couple of weeks; and the live programs are full of really bad and old jokes. It's a good thing it snowed over here, so I can spend time outside and play in the snow, instead of having to stay in and watch television.

I have found that the internet is more entertaining and that there are more things to look at that are great than the rubbish that they keep repeating on the tv all the time, it gets rather boring watching the same old rubbish as last year and the years before that. The soaps are full of doom and gloom, the same as the news.

I know what you mean, I've been saying for days that I can't wait until the holidays are over so TV can get back to normal. None of my favorite series have been new episodes for what seems like an eternity. Heck, I'm going to forget what was going on when they finally return! It would be one thing if the shows that have been on were anything new but they're mostly all reruns too. I can't remember the last new Christmas movie I saw on television.

I try to see it from their stanpoint. This time of year everyone is on vacation or taking time for family and so they aren't making anything new. After the new year they will have new stuff back on. It takes more money to make just one episode of a show than it did years back so they don't make as many too. And I find it kind of nice that cable shows alot of their shows again cause I get distracted and miss parts so I get the opportunity to watch some again. I would try checking out some different channels and see what they have to offer.

I will agree there. The only things that i bother to watch are a few soaps on the tv and they are getting rather boring now.I tend to play on a few games on my ipod touch or i play a few games on the internet and that was great until my bp hit the roof as i was getting stressed out no being able to get to the next level, lol.
