Defective peso bill is on the loose

A friend of mine told me that defective peso bill was hold due to some minor problems.
Although some new peso bill was already released. According to my friend whose her Uncle
has a friend in the bank told her that keep the defective peso bill.
Because some banks will buy defective peso bill and it will be twice the price of the defective peso
bill. I hope that will be true. I still have 10 pieces of 20 peso bill in me.
I could sell it to them twice the value of my money.
How about you guys, do you still have new peso bill in you?

I think that is true because I have heard about it. I know a friend who also collect the old currency and the tickets, as a hobby of him. I don't know if they get paid for old currency but Peso bill is something they talk about.

What kind of "minor problems" are in these "defective peso bills". Please educate me, as I am clueless about these defects in the peso bills. Are the defects in the newly issued 20 peso bills which I have not yet seen in circulation yet? The banks in our area have not received the new bills yet. It seems that the only bank where you can exchange your old bills to the new bills is in Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.

From time to time money is printed with errors. Those few notes are usually much more valuable the longer you hold onto them. If they even get into circulation. We had a big lot of errors on a large bill in the US

So, lucky are those who are working on bank and has relatives working in the banks then for they will be keeping loads of new 20 peso bill with them. I don't have the new bills yet but my sister does. If this is true then i will tell her to keep the bill with her and wait for the banks to say that they will be buying the defective ones. Thanks for this info ;)
