What type of soap or face wash do you use when you shower?
Since I started a new soap brand called "Palmolive" I started to get skin infection... Should i consider of changing soap or wash wash?
Is there any doctors here? or anyone who can help me with this? thank you!

You should discontinue use that soap, it has chemicals that is not suitable to your skin that's why you got allergic. Maybe you can use the mild soap only and see if your allergy will gone. If symptoms persist you should consult a dermatologist.

I think you it's better to stop using the Palmolive that you are using now, if the infection continues, perhaps it's good to consult the doctor. There is a small spot on my left leg that will get skin infection if I use the not suitable soap or body shampoo. I consulted the doctor, and she told me I should use the soap-free body shampoo, such as Dove or Dettol. Actually I do not really what soap-free means, but I just use body shampoo from these two brands. I used to use other brand for a few days when I am not at home, then my skin started to have infection problem. When I changed back to Dove or Dettol, then it's fine. I think there are other brands that produce soap-free products, just I haven't go and check it out.

It sounds like you are allergic to the new soap. Even if it's not exactly some sort of reaction, if it started just after changing soaps I would certainly go back to the other kind I was using. Then if it doesn't go away I would go to the doctor because then it might not be the soap!

Maybe it's allergy due to perfume or a component of the soap. if you scratch it and gets cut and gets infected by bacteria then it becomes an infection. I would suggest that you discontinue using the product and see a dermatologist, good luck

hello xxj3ffxx,
For a mean time you can use hypo allergenic soap that will be better or go to dermatologist for proper medication and advice becoz we cannot be sure if you are alergic to your new soap or there is something else .:)
have a nice day!
