Ted Williams-The Man With the Golden Throat and Black His Hearted Mother

I don't know how many people in the USA saw the NBC Today Morning Show this morning with Ted Williams and his mother, but I for one was highly embarrassed for him. That women was the most angriest women that I have ever seen. It was all about her and how much he had embarrassed her. She needs the help more than he does. She says that she is a Christian? Well, she needs to lock herself away from him until she reviews what Jesus says about forgiveness and the prodigal son.
What she has gone through as a relative of an addict is no different than anyone else has. I have a brother that is an addict and I know what she has gone through and yes, I have been angry with him, but not for how he has embarrassed me, his sister, mother, or even his children, but how he has embarrassed himself. Ted Williams knows what he has done and is trying to get back on track and it's going to be a long road, but he needs a solid support system around him and his Mother is not one of those people. I don't see her letting go of her anger. She's as addicted to her anger as he was to the drugs and drinking.

I saw the ending of it so did not get to see the full show, all I started to think is that now that he is escalating more and more people will be out to get from him now.
Anyone in life needs support and understanding, especially when they want to get their life back on track. So did behavior will not help him one bit.

Of course none of us know what he has put her through but i did not think she was a supportive as she should be eother. I wish the very best for him & hope he gets his life all starightened out. I saw his ex-wife on tv yesterday & she seemed very supportive of him.

I did not see it but she sounds so very toxic herself. I know too many people who try to turn other people's problems into something that is all about them.

I agree with you people fall into these situations but if we support each other we can help each other. If she says she is a christian first of all she would have been praying for him and not let him live on the streets if she could he really needs help and prayers
