Money and wealth can't make happy. It is applicable to France. Though the country is one of the richests and secured nations the people of this State are in the top of the pessimists of the world. Not only that the French are fearful about their future and are emotional for their past. They think past was better than the present. Recently published the survey result of US based BVA Gallop revealed this fact. The study was made on 53 countries. The study said the French are more frustrated than the Afghans or Iraqis.

Hi bhanusb, first and foremost, wish you a very happy new year. :)
As to the survey, it only confirms my theory. We can go up, and up, and enjoy the ride on the way up, but we will come down and that is for sure. If not us, it would be our next generation, or generation aftert that. Its just like waves. Every now and then there will be swell, and then after reaching a height, it is unable to balance itself, and we'd fall. So why bother with all that? Why dont we remain satisfied with enough for ourselves, and leave some work for each generation? Greed after all hurts our next generations. Isn't it?

Hi vandana,
I too wish you a very happy New Year.
I agree with you. Excessive of every thing is bad. Greed is the root of all evils. We must be satisfied which we get. Unlimited wants makes a person to go in the wrong
path. Every one should restrain his/her wants. Satisfaction is the source of mental peace. Thanks for sharing.
