The reality television craze is far from new, but I'm suprised at just how long this pop culture fad has lasted. In fact I don't think it even holds the title "fad" with as long as it has been around. The immense success of reality television is due mostly in part to us the veiwers. I personally love reality tv. It's perfect for those brainless afternoon breaks (usually during my kids nap time), when you just wanna veg out in front of the tele. Few annoy me but I have to admit I'll watch most anything. So what reality telvision do you watch if any. I know I can't be alone or it wouldn't be so successful.

I don't watch a lot of the reality TV shows on any regular basis. I do occasionally watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians, but that is only when nobody else is around. I also watched a few episodes of Married to Rock. I could certainly get sucked in to both of these shows if I allowed myself. I also watched Downsized on On Demand about a family whose father lost his job and they had to cut back on everything, and Fairyjob Mother. I really like that one for some reason, I think because I am worried about my husband losing his job soon and it helps to see other people in the same situation and how they deal with it.

Fariyjob Mother, never heard of that one but it sounds like something I'd like. I'm gonna look it up. Shows like that and undercover boss I think intrigue people because they can relate to them. I think it reflects what we as a nation are going through.

Your right about reality tv. It can be rather addicting. The ones I like to watch are The Biggest Loser, Americas Next Top Model, Kimora, Keeping up with the Kardashians, and Undercover Boss. Reality tv is here to stay.
