hello mylotters, I want to share this news that i just watched awhile ago there is a Filipina retired nurse from United States who adopted more than sixty (60) dog at her place most of this dog was rescued by her to the butcher and some of the dogs was given by her neighbor who can't take care of the dog anymore after her retirement she decided to went home at her home town at La Union, Philippines and started adopting this dogs. One of the neighbor said that this retired nurse give food to her neighbor's dog even it's raining and she even pay some amount of money to the butcher so she can get the dog. I am happy that there is someone who has a golden heart for Man's Bestfriend i hope that killing dogs or other animals will stop anytime soon not just in my country but across the globe. happy posting!

hello, Have you ever heard about the old lady who rescued and adopted hundred of cats? I watched it also from news here in our country. There was sad part of this story, she has to put some cats into sleep, because there was a disease that is spreading to every cats. I forgot the whole story,it was long ago...5 yrs or more. There are people who really has the heart to animals, while there are people who are worst than animals. have a good day

Hello! This is a very nice to read story, thanks for posting this. I am thankful to those nurse that she gave her life and time to adopt this dogs. I can't imagine how she do this but I wanna be like her someday. Hope others will do this too. Dogs are one of the discarded animals here, they are taking for granted this very beautiful creature that God has created.

hi lanie, I think half of her house was built for the dogs she even provide a cementery for them, she even ask for a help if someone or an institution can give her dogs an anti-rabies vaccine since the price of the dog food increased she think of an alternative food like vegetables and fruits for them she really care for them. thanks for the response happy posting
