Prissy is one of the cats we inherited last year when our friend died.
She's a pretty little thing, but hard to get a picture of.
So, today she was being really cute and I actually caught a good shot of her!
Do your pets do silly things like this?

I got my first cat in California, and we drove back to Oklahoma for a visit. My mom had an old, large tea kettle she used to water her plants, it had a large top opening and a lid, that she left off. Butterfly ran in the door after the long trip, ran to the back of the house and popped into that tea kettle. She kept us entertained the whole trip doing that and extending one paw out the spout. She would also crawl into glass florist bowls and roll around. You had to have seen it. It was hilarious.

That is a good shot. In fact, I'd say it was great shot.
(You wouldn't believe what Harmony tried to type!)

I believe I can offer some competition in cute here, although not the same beautiful color as Prissy. Meet Baby Cat (who is also in my profile pic).
I swear, there's just something about the bowl shape that draws them (bowls, sinks, depressions in clean clothes and pillows, etc.)

True, she was a baby when I took that, although she's not much bigger now that she's almost 8 months old. You're right, though. kittens are almost always ahead on cute. But, there's still something about them LOVING being surrounded by curves (which might explain why every cat I've had loves laying on my chest!! LOL)

I'm having a hard time figuring out what is funnier: cats on roombas, or cats sitting in bowls.
What kills me is the fact that she's got this look on her face like your crazy for thinking this is worthy of taking a picture.
"Yeh, so I'm in this bowl now. Wanna fight about it?"

She is a pretty kitty for sure! I wonder if she was hinting at you to give her a lil treat or it was time to eat by sitting in a bowl. I can't think of anything cute that my cats have done lately.

What a gorgeous cat!! I have a stray that looks a lot like that only she has a white patch on her chest and white paws. I call her Sunny. I've not seen a lot of cats with that coloring and they are beautiful. Sunny is pregnant, unfortunately, but I bet her kitties will be just as lovely--especially if Clyde, the all white stray, is the dad.

Sunny is a dilute tortie like Prissy. That means her kittens could be black, red a/k/a orange, yellow (the dilute of red), blue (the dilute of black), maybe not white tho, because she's going to be giving those kittens black (dominate) and red (dominate) genes. But if Clyde has white spotting under all that white, they may have more white than their mother.

Oh yes! I can honestly say that I have found my two cats in all sorts of weird and wonderful places! Rosie is not so bad these days because she is getting a bit older and has calmed down but Hewy is just as naughty as ever! I bought him a play tunnel yesterday and he seems to like it so I hope it keeps him out of trouble for a while! Prissy is such a cutie, you can do nothing but love her!

What a great picture! My four cats do silly things all the time, but it is hard to get pictures of them while they are doing it--whenever I get up to grab the camera, they stop what they are doing and start following me, or washing themselves, or whatever. For instance, my kitten Muffin is currently peering at me over the top of my laptop, leaning his chin on the screen. The second I move, he will, too.

oh ElicBxn she is so adorable and so photogenic that color is so
pretty. She seemss to like her pose there too. wonder what she was
thinking.I have no pets now but my black tom Midnight used to get my goat when he would curl up all nice and snug right in the darkest part of the hall on my way to the bathroom in the middle of the night s o we finally had to put night lights along that and then he came and slept on my feet at night a nd purred like a little motor boat..lolHe used to get stepped on on his poor black tootsies. poor Midnight.

Prissy must be a very small cat. Our Sleepy is on the large side. It is amusing to see him try to get into a box that is smaller than he is. He will frequently tear it up trying to get into it.

She is a small one, both of the cats are small.
Its really funny that since we got the Bouquet Girls we've gotten a bunch of "midget" cats!
Even Daisy, who is pushing a year is tiny and Gwen is almost 4 months and under 3 lbs.
However, Sparky is making up for the girls' small size, he's only 6 months and bigger than Daisy!
