What is the weirdest thing....

Goat at a wedding - My SIL's goat was walking around during the wedding.

you have seen at a wedding? I know this seems like a weird question, but the reason I am asking is this. About 7 years ago, my sister in law decided to get married at her and her fience house. They have a small barn near the house where they had a horse, donkey and a few other small barnyard animals. While the videographer was taping, we could hear 'baaaa, baaaaa'. When the guy panned over it was the goat walking around and through the quests....munching on grass. It was very odd to see a goat at a wedding. What odd things happened at any wedding you have been to?

The bride walked down the aisle to Fat Bottomed Girls by queen. At this same wedding, the ringbearer was a 22 year old guy with a beard and the flower girl was actually a little yorkie. The groomsmen were all in kilts. They definitely took and did their own thing.

LOL oh my gosh the bride walked down the aisle while fat bottomed girls played. That has got to be one of the funniest things I have ever heard. I've seen people dancing to strange things at their reception like I like big butts but never have I heard of a strange song being played as the bridge walked down the aisle.

I never heard this song before, so I listened to it on you tube. OMG! Was the bride a big girl? This is one of the weirdest songs for walking down the isle.

yes she was a bigger girl. It was one of her favorite songs, and since she and her husband were paying for the whole thing on their own, they decided to peronalize it to fit their personality. As I was thinking about it, I have been to a few other strange weddings. My cousin had a medieval wedding. Her now ex husband, wore a suit of armor, all of her jewelry was made of small chainmaille links. About 60% of the guests dressed up.

I haven't been to any weddings in the last twenty five or thirty years. No one I know gets married. My great granddaughter came in one day in August and told me she had married her new husband that day. No one in the family had even known. I hope they might have a ceremony sometime down the road.

Yes, offer to have a small 'second' wedding at your house or lawn.

I wish we could do just that. We have a small apartment and very little lawn.

Seeing animal in a wedding hall is something very rare. Thats too a goat. I have not come across such things anywhere in the wedding. Goat walking around may be a funniest thing. Good sharing. I would not have expected this.

They were married in their backyard....and have a small barn nearby--which really didn't matter, since the goat walks around everywhere anyway. LOL

Well i may have missed those thing but i have done one weird thing. I was in my teens, my friend i was at a place and there was a wedding going on, we decided to in as we were hungry and were happy to do which is never done. We both went on the stage and wished the couple, then went to the food court and had food, sat there. came out and it was the weirdest moment of life.

It is weird the things that we do sometimes, isn't it? We were out one Saturday night, and decided to go on to another club. This club was having a reception for a couple's wedding. We went in, danced a little bit, sat down at the back of the club and started eating at the buffet-KFC. How rude is that? No one said a word to us.

I've been to a lot of weddings during the 30 years of my life. However, I really can't think of anything weird that I've seen happen at a wedding. The closest thing that I can think of is my cousin's wedding that was held in my grandmother's back yard. There was plenty of liquer to be consumed in the garage and most of the younger guests at the wedding got pretty sloshed. Well, my cousin and a few of her friends got sick and decided to fertilize my grandmother's garden.

Weird? When I say the word weird....I guess it is in the eye of the beholder. What is weird for one person is not necessarily weird for another. A goat running around through the guests, is weird in my opinion.....but it didn't seem to bother the bride or groom. lol

I remember the time I attended a cousin's wedding. The occasion just went on just fine. As the flower girls, ring bearer, etc., walk to the altar, I started bringing out my videocam for a nice shot. Everything went smoothly until during the kissing of the bride and the groom, a bird (or I think it was a stray dove) snatched the bride's tiara. It seemed that the bird was jealous of the marriage. Unfortunately for me, my videocam was out of charge. It was funny. Everyone laugh but it didn't seem to be a disrespect to the couple because the couple themselves laughed also.

All the weddings I've ever been to have been Church weddings, and the one with a flower girl didn't do anything weird.

I didnt go to this wedding but a girl that I went to school with got married and from their wedding to their reception her and her husband each road four wheelers. I can only imagine how dirty her nice white dress must have been when she showed up at her reception. To me that was like something you would expect on beverly hillbillys or something lol.

We have a Limo business and last year the groomsmen's vests were camouflage and the bridesmaid's sashes were camouflage. To each his own.

Other than my aunt's wedding at the hot tub place? :D Can't say I've seen anything truly weird...

I once went to a wedding where the groom took his pet dog, a huge Old English sheepdog into the church. He wanted it to be the 'best man' and was very disappointed when the vicar ordered him to leave the dog outside. Not quite as weird as a goat at a wedding!

I really find this amusing. He must have love his dog so much to make it his best man.

I have not been to any weddings where as anything like that but I went to one last summer where as instead of the bridesmaids walked with the grooms men. In this wedding the bridesmaids were paired off together as they walked down the aisle and the grooms men were paired off together and I though, huh?? That to me was odd but it was a lovely wedding and reception though.

As far as weddings, I think anything goes today. Everyone is always trying to something different, so their wedding will be more memorable than the last couple. Not necessary, IMO.

I have never attended a weird wedding yet. Although, at the latest , i have attended a very nice wedding last Saturday. Usually after the wedding there are photo shoots of the bride & groom, entourage etc. I was amazed when the photographer had all the pairs of the candle, veil and cord sponsor posed as if they are the newly weds too. The girls posed in a sweet pose with their partners, but the sweetest of course are the newly weds. i felt like laughing because why would the sponsors pose that way too when they are not even related to their partners and they are just sponsors per se? wow, how time changes everything, even the way one poses for the camera!

Todays' weddings can be anyway at all, it seems.
