I like to cook fish, but can not stand his smell when you cook. I feel like vomit. How can alleviate the smell when you cook fish? Some advice?

Hello Didi, i've never cooked fish because of the same reason. I'm cooker from soon, but for that half year i'm cooking at home, i've never tried to deal with fish. We eat other things like mince, chicken, pork, i can't handle the smell of the lamb meat too, that's what i don't cook also. I believe that if we want to eat fish, we can buy it cooked as we like it, because me and my boyfriend are not people, who wants to eat that often.

I'm sure that my boyfriend will handle it, but still the smell will be in our apartment.

You may alleviate the smell but difficult to finish it completely. Try to spray aor freshener or light some incent stick or perfumed candles. Lighting candles is said to keep away flies as well. Hope this will help.

Fish can smell a lot when cooking and the smell lingers in the kitchen. Depending on how it is cooked is what I do to alleviate this. Deep frying in the worst for me although it is SO yummy! There are racks that will help out with the spilling of oil on the range. I use them. Cooked or smeamed fish have to problem as you place a lid oover the pot. As for baking, I cover the pan with aluminum foil and place some over it too. I hope this helps.

My wife puts a layer of onion, turmeric, garlic paste over it and deep fries in oil first, then cooks it in thick gravy, the smell, rather the flavor is appealing loll. Thank you so much for sharing. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . God bless you. Welcome always.
