Hello my fellow mylotters. today I'd like to share my thoughts on cookies as gifts. When you give someone who loves cookies a nice warm batch of cookies as a gift, it really does wonders for the both of you. 1. it brightens they're day, therefore making you happy for making them happy. 2. it may bring you and that person closer, because you thought enough to care about them to brighten their day, thus you may get cookies or some other tasty treat in return. and 3. last but not least when you give someone cookies as a gift it shows people what a thoughtful personal person you are, and you may be considered for companionship for whatever event or happening that person may attend. Whatever happens, just note it's not bad giving someone a batch of cookies that they'll enjoy. Let me know what you think.

I think giving cookies as gifts is a wonderful idea. Too bad i don't bake cookies. I think receiving cookies makes the receiver aware of the sincerity of the giver since baking cookies requires a certain amount of personal commitment. I wish you were my friend so I can receive cookies from you as a gift. I think cookies are a good gift for any occasion.

This is a gret gift. All though i believe it is a gret gift ithink it should ony be a gift for ertain things. I know when people give birth that people cook for them and bring such things over to them so there not so worried about cooking all the time for their family and other kids they might have had already. Also know that in the winter months people do like these gifts and i do know that people up north bake alot during the winter. I live in Florida and no so much baking goes on right now as it isnt to cold here at the moment. I love to bake and could do it everyday if i could and wouldnt mind doing this for gifts for everyone.

I remember my friend I used to work with telling me that her daughter in law was going to buy a plain cookie tin then decorate it with paint and bake cookies and give those out at Christmas the one year. I thought that sounded like a really nice idea. I love cookies. I may do that for my grandmother next year.

I agree giving someone a lovely tasty batch of cookies certainly is a nice thing to do, unless that person is on a diet. But otherwise it is a very loving and thoughtful thing to do, and knowing that someone actually took time to bake something for you is a very nice thought and one that makes you realize how much that person must care for you in order to do such a thing.

I agree with you that giving a batch of cookies as a gift is wonderful. In fact, any gift that has beed made with your hands is also made with your heart. My family and friends love my jams and relishes for Christmas. I don´t give cookies because I make them with my smaller grandsons (they decorate them) and they don´t last long on the plate

I would like to say yes, and that I agree with you and your points, but that's just because I love cookies. Specially the freshly maded ones. But all the points you've outlined here holds true for other things as well. Not just cookies. Don't you think?

I think that's a lovely gift. For someone like me who doesn't like to bake and doesn't need anymore stuff laying around the house...cookies would be a real great gift and a wonderful treat!
