Losing control of my car

Today, the road condition was slightly better than yesterday. Icy was melted due to yesterday's afternoon sun. I hope that it should completely melt away before the weekend. Anyway, when I closed to my work place, I lose control of my car due to the remaining icy and snow. It just gave me a shock, and I instantly step on the brake. My car just hit on the sidewalk, and I have to stop for a moment to recover myself. Luckily, there wasn't a car there. Otherwise, I couldn't imagine. At the end, I manage to drive my car slowly to my workplace, and I have to get off and inspect the front. Only a few scratch and no biggie. Gosh, I just hate to drive on an icy road, totally aren't safe. Some of my co - workers call in and ask for rescue too. Some people can't even go up hill due to the slippery of the road.

Happy to know you are safe lol. Here we don't have snow, but i presume the road is slippery because the snow might be behaving like fine sand particles to the tyres of vehicle, and melted snow like kind of mud. Thanks for sharing Professor ‘*^Bhuwan^*’. .
