do you find it really hard to get off to sleep and that it seems to take forever to get off to sleep. It took me near on three hours to get off to sleep the other night as i was stressed out as well as very angry with all the things that had happened in the day time, all i kept doing was thinking it over.

No if I get stressed out during the day on the way home I try to forget about it and tell myself tomorrow will be a better day and it helps so try telling yourself that before you go to bed and see if it helps you any? I found that life is too short to be stressed or unhappy so try to be happy and have a good day!

I do try to have a good day every day, but there are days that i feel really down and no matter how hard i try i can not snap out of it.I also find that there are a few people that wind me up when they go to see a friend and they end up contidicting all the time.

I am a forgiving person, It won't take long for me to forget that I was angry with a person or something. But when I am stressed, that becomes a problem. I hardly sleep. Even if I try to easy my mind by thinking of happy thoughts, that doesn't work. Even if I try to calm myself down with milk and cookies, that doesn't work...

I am not a person that forgets what has been said and by who or about what.I am still thinking over things inside my head even hours later whilst laying in bed trying to get to sleep.I try to take my mind off alot of things by being on the internet, as this helps a friend of mine, however it do not help me at all.

I am making cards with a friend tomorrow, so i hope that will help destress me.I try to do a few things like come on this site or play a few games of bingo before i go to bed, in the hope that it will help me get off to sleep.I also go in a chat room for a while and that sort of helps.

I try to come on here before i go to bed in the hope that this will either take my mind off all the things that are going on as well as all the things that have made me angry through out the day.Sometimes being on here as well as a bit of music sort of helps, yet other times nothing seem to help.

Well when I have had a stressful day, whatever has happened is still weighing heavy on my mind. Therefore any attempts to get to sleep might be fighting an uphill. Not that I do not try. I really know that I was be lying in bed, until the time where I have to get up too, in a vain attempt to go to sleep. Perhaps eventually I might fall asleep but it might be for fifteen or twenty or thirty minute periods. And the thing is, I just get angrier at my inability to get to sleep. It is something that really just adds to the stress. Especially how I know it will impact the next day and it will cause me a great deal of stress. I really do think that it is odd, that getting agitated by my inability to get to sleep would keep me up. Thankfully it does not happen all that often, but when it does, it is really just a waste time. One would think I would learn. Yes, one would think that. They would wrong.

Hi there, I never find any trouble in sleeping except for the sound of stormy and hard rain outside my windows. When I'm angry about something and can't find any conclusion, I will make some hot chocolate drink and grab my books or go online looking for something that interest me. For me sleep is a body need, so whatever I feel or had it going in my head can't fight the sleepy feelings.

I have even took sleeping pills in the hope that they will help me get some sleep.I think that there are alot of people that are out there that do have a few problems getting off to sleep when they feel stressed out.I have lots of things that go through my mind at night that makes me get off to sleep really late each night.

The past couple of nights, I felt like I didn't sleep at all. I must have been, I didn't hear anyone moving in the house. I have been thinking about doing some sound, and scent therapy see if that helps. I hear people talk about these things and how great they work. Might just give it a try.

I can certainly relate to this. I have a sleeping disorder. I go through a cycle of staying up until early morning(5,6 and sometimes 7 or later), then I go for awhile where I sleep afew hours and am up afew hours usually about 4 or 5. Then I go to sleep early in the evening and then I am up all night. Then I start all over again.

When I am angry I can't get to sleep very easy! Once I relax I am better! I hate when days are so stressful that nothing goes right! Luckily I don't have alot of days like this!

Yes, when I am having issues with my know-it-all 20 year old son, or my husband, I can lay awake most of thee night. Even on good nights, I need to read for a while so i can relax and then fall asleeep. If I do not read, I toss and turn for hours, it seems. Melatonin was given to a friend by her doctor, who had trouble falling asleep. Maybe that is worth a try.

Yes, that is often what happens to me unless I had zero sleep the night before, in which case I will fall right to sleep no matter how much stress I have been under.

On a regular day it takes me about a half hour to fall asleep. If I'm really upset and stressed I tend to toss and turn all night and not sleep well. When I wake up in the morning it feels like I've been hit by a truck. I've often thought about trying to meditate before bedtime. Thats pretty much as far as it goes. I've thought about it but haven't done it yet. Maybe this is a sign that I should try and minimize the amount of stressful things in my life.

hi, when i am angry, i could easily forget it, and ignore it, why should i need to be stress because of that things, so i let my angry to think of me and not to think about it.
