Wishful thinking

What does beautiful pictures of different places mean to you? Does it give you a heart burn knowing that you can only see them in pictures? Or does it give you a desire to strive hard so you can fulfill your wishful thingking? I think both emotions fill my sanity. The only country I was able to see was canada but it ended short because of uncontrollable circumstances. Financial sources forbids me from fulfilling my heart desire to travel. My earnings only support my basic necessity but not the wants in life. I envy travelers for their experiences with pictures of lovely places they have been to. I hope one day I can still fulfill what my heart desires- to travel.

I have a page a day calendar of beaches and islands. It gives a tropical color to my desk. I travel overseas at least once a year. At the moment I am on a trip that I am having a fantasic time. I have a travel wish list and I will visit as many of those destinations as possible. Last year it was Vancouver and the year before it was Cape Town. When I was 14 years old I traveled to Greece on the money my paper round paid me. Low cost travel is possible and some countries are cheap to visit.

Who wouldn't want to experience personally what is there in the picture if given a chance? I also love to travel, discover new places, meet other people of different races, learn their culture, try their dishes etc. When I look at certain picture showcasing the beauty of such place, always utter silently hope I could be there too. Well, I am still young and hopeful that one day the wish will become a reality.

Beautiful pictures of beautiful places just makes me want to visit them more. Tropical paradises and white majestic mountains look so inviting that you can almost reach out and touch them. Nothing wrong with a little wishful thinking now and then.

The title's apt...wishful thinking. The last time I was abroad was when I was a student and a member of a dance troupe who had the opportunity to tour Asia (3 countries anyway.) My first and last. It was an unforgettable experience to be able to be able to dance freely in a park in Japan and do other crazy things not caring of people who stop and stare. We won't be seeing them again anyway. Now I look at pictures of friends and relatives and wish I could see those beautiful places with my very own eyes and not through some lenses. If I have the resources and the time so I can view and laze without worry of time, I would really love to visit Europe. But, as of now and who knows until when, it remains as one of my wish list. Sigh!

Hello. Many wishes do come true if we truly believe in it. With lots of perseverance and prayer i think we can all fulfill our dreams. I also wish for many things in life and i know it will happen soon. It is positive wishful thinking. I look forward to the future. Anyways it is always free to dream our biggest dreams. I know for sure you'll be financially abundant and make all your wishes come at the right time. You can travel too just continue dreaming and don't loose hope. Happy dreaming happy mylotting.

When I see beautiful pictures, t inspires me to strive more. Work harder so that I can save a little for me to go that place. Even though some are quite impossible to reach, I just keep them as my motivation to travel. Little by little, I was able to travel. It may not be to where the picture is but the fact that I was able to travel even it is just near our country, that tells me that I can do it. It gives me hope that someday I will reach the place where those beautiful pictures are. Don't loose hope maria! There is hope while you are still alive. I myself don't have enough earnings for my leisures. But if you try to work harder and look for other means of earning a little, you can go the distance. Keep Mylotting...

There are a few places that I would love to see and visit some day. I am not sure if I will ever get to go either. I do not have the time or the money right now to do it either. I still like to see the pictures of these places and I also like to see them on television too.

There are places i would love to go in life and see, i have been on cruises and to the caribbean numerous amount of times and am now thinking aout not going next year in 2012 on one and hopefully going to Vegas or New York because those places i really want to see and experience. my dreams ocnsist of going to New York and Las Vegas to see shows and to shop in an amazing place that so many people have talked about before. I think everyone in life has dreamed about places they have wanted to go and wanted to see.

Usually I love to see pictures of these places and watch holiday programs on TV and just dream i my head of one day being able to afford to go there but, if I am in one of those moods where I think I will never have the money to go then it just upsets me to see them. Most of the time though I enjoy looking at them.

Seeing pictures of beautiful places only makes me want to see them more. I haven't been too many places either. Only Canada and Ecuador.

I also dream of visiting more places. I've been very fortunate in the past, with lots of travel opportunities, since I grew up in a military household that traveled a lot. I've lived in Spain, visited Canada, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Portugal and Morocco. My travel dreams aren't limited to foreign travel only, though it's what I most long to do. I also want to visit more places here in the U.S. I've been lucky enough to visit New York (I lived on Long Island for a couple of years, so got to travel into the city quite often), Las Vegas, San Diego and San Francisco. I've been to beautiful beaches in Florida, the Carolinas and Virginia, seen mountains in practically every state I've visited. My dream now is to finally see the Plains states. I've never seen prairie land, and can't even imagine it. Flat and open for as far as the eye can see. I tend to keep a running list of places I want to visit, and it just keeps getting longer. The priority levels change on it periodically, with a few years ago Ireland being at the top of my list, and now Australia has edged it out. Egypt is pretty high on the list as well. Maria, don't ever give up the desire to travel. You'll get to do more of it one day, I'm sure. And in the meantime, use those beautiful pictures to start planning your trips. A lot of the pleasure of a trip can come in the anticipation, looking at guides, reading travelogues and talking to others who have visited the location, or even folks who live there.
