The Rapid Decline of "Classic" Facebook Games

I'm one of the many people who are growing tired of playing games on Facebook. I was once a Mafia War-slash-Farmville-slash-Poker-slash-Pet Society addict. Now, my Facebook "game life" only revolves around the 2 best collectible card games available, Eredan and Urban Rivals. Are you still enjoying the classics or are you ready to give them up to play with the new ones?

I'm only playing facebook games just to pass the time or to make feel pre-occupied. I also got tired of Mafia Wars and even Vampire Wars because it's neverending and a lot of people have reached waaaaaay beyond my meager level. I'm currently enjoying cityville but I know in time I'll probably ditch that game as well.

I wanted to play Cityville but I've been a SimCity player all my life. For me, compared to SimCity, Cityville is like a watered-down version of SimCity. I wish there will be more original games though. All these "grinding" games and "publish this and that" on your wall just to earn rewards is getting tiresome really quick.

I use Facebook's games for a break from my writing and research. I still enjoy all the games I play on FB. I play Farkle, Farkle 2, Bejeweled, Mafia Wars, Frontierville. Pot Farm, Poker, School of Wizardry, and afew others. I don't play each of them every day or even every week so I never really tire of them.

I've always been one of those people that can only commit my time to playing one game at a time. I've been hooked on Treasure Isle for quite some time and I can honestly say that I don't want to give it up. However, I've recently had some problems getting it to load right so I really haven't played on there for a while. I miss it. However, I really don't think that there has been a rapid decline in the games that are available on facebook.
