I am into the virtual world for more than 10 years now and I have just begun to earn from it. My journey has been enriching and got to learn many new things. Am still learning. One thing I learned over the years is that you cannot be rich overnight but perseverance helps you earn. Online earnings happen slowly and take a lot of time and effort. You start with a few cents and slowly increase from several sites. so, what are the things you learned while earning from the internet?

Whoa buddy ! Very long time :). 10 years is a very long time and its really great to see you being patient all through these years. Yes I agree that Earnings over the internet do not happen overnight. There is no "Quick Get rich Scheme here", One cannot earn money overnight. I have also learnt to be patient and work with determination for achieving my goals. There is no Gain without pain :). One more thing which I learnt is, never invest money into programs which claim to make you rich overnight, also never invest money unless you see legal payment proofs and interact with the members of the concerned website. Internet does have great opportunities and you can surely make a few hundred dollars in the long run if you stick to your work with patience and determination in the short run. The loss and very little money in the short run converts into great earnings in the long run is something I have learned and trying to apply now. Regards moneyspinner.

I absolutely agree with you there. Networking plays an important role and a little bit of research and chit-chat with the community help in identifying the scam sites.Payment proofs are also a good way to identify the trusted sites.

Hello mimpi :). I might have forgot to add this :- whois.domaintools.com helps to get a rich data about the website and its origin. The name, address, location and contact of the owner and the website. If the information about the owner and site is open for public, the site is 99 % legitimate. Hidden Identity gives signs of something being fishy. Thank you and hope you have a great time ahead.

Well, nothing is free in this world & there's no such thing as fast money - that's why so many people fall into scams. We need to put in effort & time into what we're doing & most often the initial stage is the hardest part where many never proceed from. Once gaining momentum things become easier. And especially on the internet earning part, finding a niche is absolutely important. I can say the same goes even in our daily jobs. That's why not many people like what they are doing simply because they're not in the right field? Everyone can give you a piece of their mind but at the end of the day it's our decision & our responsibility for the actions we take, no one else to blame

That's so true! Hardly a few get to fetch a job that they are passionate about. Internet, that way, is a huge avenue that help us get the choice of fields we are passionate about. I, for one, have got to explore the world that I would have never otherwise. i wish you luck zweeb in your endeavor.

Hi The first and the most important thing i learned is that it is not an easy task to earn money on the internet. Perhaps I would say, it is one of the most difficult things to do. Then if you really need to earn you need to have active referral, so that you can have their share of pie too.

That's very true. A lot of it depends on active referral and I am very bad at it.

I have started earning online about 3 years ago. Yes, I agree with you earning online is not a quick rich scheme. It just like any other offline job that you have to devote time to it in order to gain. Although some exceptions I have seen most especially for those who have much knowledge on it. There are also those that earn by investing some and in return made it big. The important thing to consider is make sure whether such is not a scam or not. I really enjoy earning online. It is not really big, but I am very much satisfied.

That's most important. We must enjoy from the time we devote here. Or else it starts to suck.

You are right ifa. Offline work gets to more but for many like me and also stay-at-homes online does offer an opportunity to earn from the jobs you love doing.

I've learned that it definitely isn't possible to replace a full time income overnight, but with perserverance, it is possible to start earning enough money that it will make a difference for the families' lifestyle. We've struggled quite a bit in the four years that I've been a stay at home mother, but since I've started to earn some money online, I've been able to provide a few extras for our family and I've also been able to help ourselves out of some difficult experiences.

I am so happy for you Dora. earning from the internet shouldn't be a short time goal. We indeed have to stay put there, working diligently full time to earn a smile in our living pattern. well done!

I have learned what you have learned. You won't get rich over night but if you do more then one and keep at it they will get you some extra money. I have alos learned the hard way to rread the TOS very carefully before paying anything. I've also learned that profit sharing ones aren't really worth it and to always get a payment before becoming a paying member. If you have to pay first then cashout, probably not a good site. I have some that I have gotten paid from many times if anyone is interested in them Just ask. thanks.

Good to know. I think reading the TOS is very important as many times to lose our accounts for something we do not even realize we did!

It is not a get-rich quick scheme, rflol. I am learning that no matter who says otherwise, bux sites are not to be trusted. Also that a lifetime upgrade is for the lifetime of the program not my lifetime. Heh, heh.
22 Jan 11
I agree with you it does take time to earn and so it takes time to learn also there are many ways to make it online but its finding your niche that works for you.

You are right. Internet cannot provide us with all the money that we would need for our living. However, choosing the right websites may help us with the paying of the bills.

What did i learn from online earning...Okay... I learned u earn that $0.01 the hard way. While those sites says and promises you thousands of dollars? It just doesn't happen that way at all. Those sites will always get whats worth of a single cent from us. We have to be patient in doing what they ask for , before we get our $0.01. It wasn't easy, i learned.

Earn Online - Earning Online is not easy.
I have learned that we must be cautious purchasing any online money making system that offers to get us rich quick. It isn't likely we will get rich quick, in most cases; we will just lose our money. It is potential to make money online, but picking out legitimate home business opportunities is a task in itself.

Righto! I have never invested on any online schemes that promises more money. Picking up the right kinda sites is indeed a task in itself.

You should learn how to drive massive traffic to any thing, because you can transform it to money or referrals or sales with a sleep, you would wait, and learn from any thing, don't say impossible, and don't lazy .
@mimpi1911 (25464)

23 Jan 11
That's a very important thing since most of the sites work on the number of traffic we get to generate for the article.

You can become a billionaire in one night but that is all dependent on your skills, luck and your effort. Your 60% of skills in your work can make you billionaire. Your 10% of luck in your work can change the side of your buisness. And 30% of effort can bring the total of your earnings.

Mimpi, I can really write a lot on this, but i'll try and keep it short. When I first set out to earn from the internet, it was Mylot which gave me my first payment. It's through the encouragement and various avenues that were suggested by wonderful friends like you, that I have really learnt a lot. A few points 1. Do not try to make money fast- Ponzi schemes(HYIPs) will make you lose money. 2. Networking is the key- If you want to earn, make as many friends on the internet and get them involved. But its quid pro quo.. 3. If you are qualified and good at something like, designing or programming- there are ample opportunities. 4. There are few avenues for writers, and people with talent for art, and many of these are aimed at people in the U.S. There are opportunities to earn doing tasks which are mundane and they require a lot of time to be spent. 5. Be uptodate with things happening around in your areas of interest and be prepared to spend a lot of time in front of the computer. Lastly but not the least, I think opportunities to earn will increase, but so will the number of people vying for the opportunities. So to be successful, your experience and continuity will matter.

Thanks for a detailed response. Even I think, networking, continuity, individuality and productivity pay off at the end of the day. My years of hard work is paying me off now, which is really a great motivation. We get to earn earn perpetually from many sites that require your initial fulltime. So stayput and you will succeed. Thanks again.

I am also just beginning to learn how to earn. But I learnt there are so many scams out there, and for a newbie it can get quite scary. The good thing is I found myLot and people here are friendly and helpful. We really need to be patient, and not sign on to every opportunity that may end up as useless waste of time later. The internet can be both exciting and dangerous. We just need to thread more carefully to have fun. Cheers!

You are so right! We should be careful no matter what and so not give out our personal details even if it promises us cents. I, particularly, avoid such sites. Mylot is indeed a great place that helps us enjoy and live more sweetly.
