Noticed Something Weird !!!

Am i the only one coming accross such lotters who do weird stuff!
Few promotes 'Mylot' on mylot ... cant help than to LOL when they introduce mylot to the host of the discussion!
Promoting mylot in profile is way different from promoting it in discussions you respond to!
I do accept that our discussions show up in google search engine for specific keywords ... in what way that is going to help those guyz(who promote mylot without their referral links in their responses) to get direct referrals 
As of the other case --- Stumbled upon this mylotter who started one disgusting discussion four years back...he adds comments in all the response boxes supporting his opinion!
He deleted his old account ... comes with a new one and responds to his own mean discussion saying "ITS DISGUSTING" 
What does that mean on this earth ? You guyz care to explain me before i conclude about him!

I didn't save the link --- just wondering as what made him respond to his own discussion with a new profile name!

His Old and New account names are almost same ... it took fraction of a milli second for me to sort it out

Transparency is not "weird" all the time : it is easy to mask an user name, but very difficult to mask a style without loosing much time, so a transparent user name is better for a come back, and 
you find it : toffer is the name of my -- future -- second account.

Yeah, sometimes myLot users do that. They don't wanna be proved wrong that's why they just entertain those that agree with their opinion.

For the second... are you sure that it is the same mylotter , and if it is true, I disagree, it is not disgusting, it is fun and I just had a good laugh .
For the first case, I had the same movement than you when I saw these mylotters promoting mylot in their profile pages, then I thought that they could refer like that, when promoting from an external site -- a blog, or a TE -- and sending the referral link to their own page. So it can be not so weird.

Yup it is the same mylotter who started that post four years back ... he revisits it three weeks back and says "it is disgusting" .
btw his current account is 2+ yrs old.
Promoting your mylot Referral link on your profile yields good results --- which isn't the case when you simply promote www.mylot.com in responses you make in other discussions!

This story of mylotter coming back is really as weird as leap years are in calendars 
.
I missed something : a referral link is something personal . Maybe is it why I can't manage to get one referral with my splash 
?
It is so stupid to do this, we see so many referrals links in some interests, that it is difficult to believe.

I don't understand your discussion? What I did get was someone on mylot deleted his old account and opened a new one, then he responded to one of his old discussions? Where did he find that old discussion? How does this show up after his account was deleted? I don't understand how this works?

You got me right ... as of your "how did he find that old discussion" you can find them by using the search column!Just type in the title of one of your old discussions and it shows up.
Our discussions remain the same and are available for responders -- when we delete our account :)

I don't quite get what u mean here. Are u trying to say something about promoting of mylot, or the old account of another mylotter? Most mylotters don't promote mylot in their own profile or responds because it does not make sense. As for the matter concerning the other mylotter, i have no idea at all. Maybe he's just out to have fun with his old discussions since it's already deleted?

Some people do things like that. I think to me , it is just an ego trip. People like that wants to be heard and recognized but the problem is they do it the wrong way. So good luck to them. I hope they find the recognition they are craving for.
