Well after seeing a few of my friends from here wondering where I was I decided to possibly start being active on the "lot" again. I have missed being here and the extra cash was always a nice little perk. All are doing well and I will be posting discussions about dad and especially my little princess Savanna in the near future. I left for personal reasons. Mostly due to not earning as much as I had before. I wasn't getting many responses to my discussions and all. So Now I will once again give it a shot here. I have been here since nearly day one and love it a lot. I've met some members here face to face as well. Anyhow, what is the one thing here that draws you to the site daily/weekly? For me it's the friendships I have made since day one years ago.

I guess being here and being needed and respected has been the major draw for me. I have made lots of friends. My friend list changes as people leave for awhile and then come back. I am finding it a little slow lately, so I guess I had better start some discussions myself. We really were missing you because we are all thinking longingly of growing gardens and being outside and eating fresh tasting food. There is a discussion up right now about growing sweet potatoes that may need your input. I look forward to hearing how things are going.

Yes, that plaque was made by one of my adult disabled clients for sale in the store. I am not working right now, that is one thing that you have missed. I took some time off for a little foot surgery and did not go back. I need to go to work, I have had three part time jobs this year, but they do not last. I am getting around to the other discussions pretty soon. I was trying to crochet while being online, and it is not working.

Still too early to start seedlings here in Minnesota. Late Feb or early March is best timing. The ground usually isn't thawed enough to mid May or later.

Welcome back, Grandpa Bob! I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering where you'd been and why I hadn't seen a post from you in so long. I was "absent" myself for awhile and there have been times when my activity here has been a bit sporadic, but I'm planning on being more active myself in the coming days.

Hell I have a quarter of an inch of ice on my screen doors to my house.
Maybe 24 inches of snow still on the ground as well.

Yeah the friendships etc here have been great for me in the years I've been a member. I still have the same name from day one too. Only one account except for when I got banned and made a new one to contact admin. Debating if I want a garden this coming yewar or not.

You may not garden this year? Why not? You always have a great garden and since gardening topics have come up, I made one on sweet potatoes and most people who replied either grow them for looks or they are in warmer climates. I wonder, where you are located, have you ever grown sweet potatoes? And how hard is it?

Actually I have talked about not doing a garden this year. Why?
I want to kill of a large area for the whole year to have some nice free clean and clear soil for a garden next time around. That's a lot of work though so I am still up in the air abiut that idea. I have no idea what I'll plant until I hit the garden centers. HAHAHA! But always tomatoes, onions, peppers etc.

Hi grandpa Bob. I´m glad you are back as you have been one of my inspirations to start with veggies again after a long time.
Besides the pennies that turn into more money, I am totally addicted to this site where you can find friendas, help and knowledge. I have learned a lot here and I have friends from all over the world.
I will post a picture of my raised bed for you. I have learnt a lot about organic gardening this year and next year I´m sure I´ll do better.

I seemed to have had that same effect on a lot of mylotters in the past as far as gardening goes. 90% of my discussions are about my gardening be it vegetables, fruits, or my flowers.

Can't say why I come back here in days, weeks even months. Maybe it has become a part of my life. Incomes were never my incentive after first month when I realized I'm too lazy to generate any. Nowadays it's the fun of relating to friends and others that keeps me logging in. At the same time, I should be busy elsewhere so...

glad to see you back on line, GB, I'm afraid I still have the same old excuse, I never have enough time to go through all my e mails. bad really, but by the time I get in from work, do dinner, wash up, clean up, take dog out, feed dog and cats , theres not a lot of time left, but I do what I can, in the time I have. but in the meantime, I have books sitting waiting to be read, dvds to watch, I have gardening (though not too much this time of year) but I love mylot , its the best. I have very good friends, including yourself , in different countries and I love hearing their views and the way they live.

Well, I am home all day as I take care of dad.
But I have been having a blast on FaceBook daily doing games etc.
I am debating wether to have a garden this spring or not myself.

I stay here because of all the people I've gotten to know, the laughs I get and all the new things I learn every day from myLotters. Of course, the earnings help and that's why I first joined but I stay for the fun of it now. I'm very glad you came back!

I have notice a few people here disappear, including yourself. And I'm glad that you've declared yourself back.
Earnings aside, there are a few interesting people and discussions here. It is also nice to connect with other people from other parts of the world. These are the reasons that keep me coming back.
