Have You Tried Any New Crafts Lately?

I've still been so loving making the rugs with the toothbrush. I'm also still enjoying making the strip quilts.
I'm wanting to try my hand at making table runners. The first one I'm going to try making will be using the strip quilt method. From there I'm going to figure out where I put my quilting books and see if there are patterns in there for table runners. I'm sure there has to be.
Another thing I am wanting to try is making a crazy quilt. Instead of throwing away my odd ball pieces of fabric like I used to, I am now saving them in a pile.

With this crochet book I have checked out I am making up swatches to practice different stitch patterns, intending to fit them all together into a crazy quilt afghan. I actually have ordered a copy of the book from Amazon. If I run across any table runner scrap patterns I will let you know.I am driving my family crazy saving all the plastic bags because I want to crochet with plarn. I wish gas was not so expensive and you were not so busy, I would come see you and get you to help me put together a quilt. I have a top and a back, and I even have something to put in between, I just never have done anything like that.

Does anyone in your family give you gas money for all the rides you provide? It is not really fair. We will get together, and I hope it is before the big sale.

You are such a talent! How do you make rugs with the toothbrush? i remember seeing some of your crafts on your blog. Why don't you write something about the rug one? BTW, the book review was great!
