Gives me the heebie jeebies. Liberals are asking Keith Olbermann - formerly of msnbc (love saying that), to run for Lieberman's seat in Connecticut. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/senate-races/139677-movement-underway-to-draft-olbermann-for-senate- What do you think? Should he run? would you vote for him?

I have to say I am not fond of the idea. I like it about as much as I would like it if Rush ran. Which pretty well means....no. But he has a right to run if he wants. But let's hope Connecticut does not vote for him.

I agree on all counts. I would not want Rush to run either and they both have every right to do so. I just cant imagine the campaign....

Woo-hoo!! I'm moving to Connecticut so I can vote for him! In all seriousness, I'd say he's every bit as qualified for the Senate as any of the Fox News' anchors/commentators who have held and may again run for political office. He's certainly AT LEAST as qualified and certainly as intelligent as most of the new tea party members of Congress. I KNOW he knows American history much better than Michele Bachmann. Annie

I just watched that video. It is funny that this is all you got out of what she said. did you hear about social security? Did you miss the point of personal responsibility? The point of opportunity? What the country was founded on?

Well, her most recent untruth was when she said the Founding Fathers ended slavery. Huh??? Annie

I don't think would want to give up all that power. As an irresponsible talking head, he can call people all sorts of names and tell the president to "shut the he11 up" as he did to President Bush. He'd also have to back up his positions with facts or something that looks like facts instead of just his skewered view and highly inflammatory opinion. On the other hand, he's prohibited by contract from appearing on TV or radio for something like 6-9 months, so he has time on his hands. Maybe a run for Senate would keep him focused. I don't think it's a good idea for people with these borderline personalities to have too much time on their hands.

Ugh! I wouldn't vote for him for dog catcher. But it sure could happen; the Democrats are having a field day since they installed an illegal alien in the WH. It's lawlessness and anything goes. Al Franken sits wrongfully in Congress, one of O's attorney henchmen on that scene to steal that election from Norm Coleman with trunksful of "ballots". You see, even the average politician cannot afford endless legal bills. But Obama's Arab and Soros money NEVER runs out.

Epicure, purely out of curiosity, are there ANY Democrats you think were legitimately elected to their positions? I mean, there are plenty from the GOP I can't figure out HOW they got elected but I don't dispute they actually DID! Annie

Annie, I do not support either party. But I stand firm in my affirmation that the Democratic party committed treason in order to win an election by illegally and unconstitutionally putting an ineligible foreign and domestic enemy into the WH. I have a copy of Nazi Pelosi's ("we must pass the bill before we can read it")fraudulent DNC certification, clearly omitting the "eligibility clause". Oops!

Well, they voted a comedian in in MN! So what's wrong with a TV talking hot head? I can only hope, if he runs, he gets 1%, or less, of the vote. Maybe that would discourage him enough he'd just go away...for good.
