Yeah right! Not here in Minnesota. This photo shows my rasberry bushes today buried in about 2 feet of snow from this winter so far. I actually have a gallon bag of them from last summer still in my freezer though. I am geting hyped up about spring and all the goodies come summer from my garden. Are you in the throes of wishing for your gardening work to start?

I am really looking forward to my garden! I really am going to start seedlings inside this year, unlike last year when I kept saying I had to do it and never did! I'm making all kinds of plans and figuring out where to put what and deciding whether I want to learn to can. It might be a good idea, with corn up 85% this past year and lots of other things going up as well.

I never really make plans as far as the latout.
When it's time to plant, that's what I do.
HAHAHA!
I am very disorganized when it comes to things actually.
But it usually all owrks out for the best.
I had a few mishaps last year placing things next to each other that blocked the sun etc. But otherwise a good year.

And here I thought you were going to temp everyone with your raspberry something or other..I haven't look at my bushes yet this year, but I still have one jar of raspberry jam and many berries frozen in the freezer, just waiting to become muffins or pancakes...
I have been too busy to bake, and so I still have berry's...:D

I can not recall how many jars of Rasberry and Strawberry jelly/jams I made. It was a lot but I gave a lot away and we sure ate a lot as well.
Hoping for just as good a harvest of the berries this summer too.

THINK SPRING!!!!!!!!
I am so looking forward to spring. We didn't have a garden this past year. my son has been planting it and didn't get around to it. I was out of town the beginning of June and it was so darn hot before and after that. I do have rasberries growing, don't have to do anything with them except enjoy. I missed going out back and pickin and eating fresh vegies. I will for sure have something growing this year. Gotta at least have some cucs, tomatoes, zuchinnis, green peppers.

I use to have the most lovely garden ever, but now I live in an apartment building.
So I do not have a garden.
I do look forward to the spring though, as I do get to see the lovely gardens of other homes in the area. It also gets me to purchase flowers for my home weekly so that at least I can enjoy them indoors.

I have cherries in my freezer. I am looking forward to spring. Just bought a package of Alaska variety peas. I want to get the raised bed ready for them and they can go out the end of February. Maybe this next year I can find a place to plant some raspberries.
