Hi friend Hello, I have retired as Professor after teaching for 45 years. But if I apply, I would say, you should hire me because I believe, I have got what it takes for me to work in your reputed company and you can be 100% assured that you will never regret for the decision you made. Thank you so much for this discussion. Wish you get the job. Professor ‘Bhuwan’. . Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

I would say, You should hire me because I have the capabilities and qualities you are looking for to fill in this position. And then you should base the qualities to the job you are applying for if they will ask you what these capabilities are. Good luck on your job interview.

This is the sort of quest that only the job applicant can answer in all honesty. Only the applicant knows about the job and what their specific qualities are for the job. Your answer should be to tell them what you believe they are looking for and then to show them from your experience that you are the one they are looking for or the one they should hire. It's not about the best answer you can find here on myLot from someone else. because for one thing, that would not be honest.

This sounds like a very difficult question. I haven't had a job interview yet but I think if I was asked this question I would list some of my best personal qualities (I'm always on time, very hard working) and tell the interviewer how much getting this job would mean to me (I'm broke, I can't make rent). ^.^ Would that work?

If I had to answer to question for a job interview I would first of all say, I'm a loyal type of employee, that I'm a team player and that I love to be busy at all times. I would also say you will not be disppointed if you hire me, that my last two employer have said that the door is always open to me if I wish to come back.

Assuming your interview was already done.. I normally would answer this question by expressing my eagerness and willing to learn the entire company as I am one who doe not take on a job simply for the job but a place where I can expand and further my career.

I worked for a telecommunications company once, I was between jobs and needed some income during that time. They asked me why they should hire me too, I told them that I talk on the phone so I know what I'm doing. The guy was so impressed with my answer that they hired me right there. Give it a shot, you are qualified if you talk on the phone right?

This is a question that is a bit tricky. Each company has their own thing on how to judge the applicants. I usually check on the account you are going for and also you have to read how the interviewer is. Most of them wants to hear that you are right for the job by expressing the qualifications you have. Always make it a positive thing for them to be intrigued about you. Also, be confident when you answer this question. That is one thing they look for which is confidence. If you are confident enough to say that you are qualified and you have experience then they will surely see in you that you are the right person for the position.

Oh, I'd say something like..'Because I believe I can provide you with what you are seeking immediately AND grow with the position and the company.' Enjoy!

Basically, that question is to give you a chance to talk about yourself and let them know why you would be an asset to them. Point out your good points and any unique qualifications you have. Don't make stuff up, but let them know in real terms how you are a good employee. For instance in my case, I would let an employer know that I'm always on time for work. I always try and do the very best job I can at all times. I'm good at following direction and working with others as a team. I'm a self starter who doesn't need constant supervision to get things done. I'm a logical thinker that can come up with practical solutions to problems. Statements like that tell the interviewer that you're the type of person that they are looking for. Some people hesitate to "blow their own horn" in an interview, but while you don't want to sound like you are bragging too much, being able to speak about your good qualities shows that you have confidence in yourself. Employers look for people that believe in themselves and aren't afraid to show it. Hope that helps!

The purpose of that question is to find out how effective you are in making conversation. Since you are applying for a job which primary task is to communicate it is only proper to ask this. But if you are applying for a job that is more on technical skills, well I think this question will not be that necessary. But anyway, here is my reply to that question. "Because if you don't you won't see anyone like me again! Never!".. with fingers pointing. :) Good day!!

I would be truthful on why I would think I would be good at that job for example. I'm very responsible, I'm eager to learn and a fast learner,I have a good attitude on me, I don't miss work hardly or whatever you think makes you be a good employee at other places that you've worked at.

Call center agents require a confident and a bold approach with a fluency in English. Answer to the above question should be briefing about your Experience in the line you are going now, your skills should be highlighted, your attitude matters. You can answer as per below "I will be the right candidate for this position because i have so and so years of experience in this line. In my past work i had handled my foreign or domestic costumers and i had received the best employee of the year ( if u had any)". you can still add some masala as well

Hi! I've been asked that question during interviews before. I tell the interviewer that I possess the academic, professional, and personal qualifications that the job requires, and then I just give details on those qualifications. For instance, if I am applying as a pre-school teacher, I emphasize on my patience and ability to handle stressful classroom situations (personal). Good luck! I hope you get the job!

Hi. I suggest that you build on your strengths and say something that you can uniquely contribute to the success of the company which you believe the other applicants may not be able to do. And remember, you have only one shot at impressing the manager so make it your best. Good luck :)

Hello asliah, If I am in your place, I would answer the question this way: Honestly I am not a wonder woman who can do all things but I could be an asset to your company. With my skill, I am sure, I could communicate well to the customers of this company. Since I am willing to learn new skills and with my flexible attitude, I could be shifted to a more important account or jobs in your company.

hire a person - qualities at its best
Hello Asliah, that's one of the hardest questions i have ever encountered during my times as an applicant. and I have absolutely no idea why it happened though, but i kept flanking down with that kind of question. sometimes, i had to add my past achievements that can be back it up, so far i couldn't help you with the right solution. except to be honest with yourself and put the possible negative answer and try to divert it into positive. sometimes being honest with the answer can hurt the interview.

The question "Why should we hire you?" is a tough interview question that needs a convincing answer. Your answer will make or break your job interview. I personally think "Because I am simply the best" is too strong and will not help you get the job as your interviewer might have heard it a lot of times. What you should do is tell your interviewer that you realize there are other candidates that can likely do the job, yet you have key qualities that make you different from the rest and make you the most qualified for the position. These qualities are your passion for excellence and deliver quality service to customers. Since you are applying for a call center position, let the interviewer know that you will always make sure that your customers will be given the best assistance by addressing their issues correctly and providing solutions to their concerns in a timely manner. I hope this helps. Best of luck!

Yes you should be expecting this question from the interviewer as it will be asked to you for sure. See, being honest here wont convince him much. This is professional world and you dont get any extra credit for being honest. You have to first check out what the company is expecting from the candidates to hire them. Do enough research on internet regarding the company and the experiences of the candidates who appeared for the interview of this company. This will help you a lot. As you are appearing for a telecomm comapany for the post of call centre agent, you would require excellent communication and verbal skills. You should be good in managing things. So you should include this in your answer. Be well prepared for the interview. Check this out for more questions that you may expect: http://www.coolinterview.com/type.asp?iType=100 All the best!
