I am just such a Dizzy Head you know Many of you know that design and make Greeting Cards and Calendars Well I am working on an Order from a Friend (who still has not got the first batch) which will be finished tomorrow Well I had to do something on the Laptop, without thinking I went on the Laptop and started to type, low and behold my Finger was stuck on the Key also everything was covered in Glitter the Keyboard, the Screen well just everything I then realised that I still had Glue on my Finger and of Course Glitter all over my Hands Ok I am not happy, I do prise my Finger of the Key without damaging it, but then the Work begins get the Glue of the Key, then get the Glitter of While I was trying to get my Finger unstuck, Gissi was charging about letting me know he needed to go potty of course I could not go with the Finger attached to my Laptop, so I told him to wait, the more I told him to wait, the more he barked and bounced of my Leg which is very irritating when you are trying to unglue your Finger from the Laptop So my advise to you is...................never go on your Laptop or Computer when you are doing your Crafts it just does not work.....well not for me anyway So do you agree with me that I am just a dizzy head ????

Oh, I agree with you all right gabs... The worse I have done is spilled coffee on the keyboard. Ever since then, any food or drink around the computer, must be eaten over the floor, and not the desktop..

Hello Gabs, That's how we are, too busy to do more than one jobs at a time! Gissi did exactly how Nera used to do when I was caught with something (and I've noticed Binne started to have the same bad habit). They need to go out right then, no sooner, no later! I had to stop whatever I was doing, because they needed to go. Anyway, they never had an emergency when they did so, but they were so persuasive! Did Gissi really need to go potty or it was only a caprice?

inu and gabs, have you heard of Cesar Millan, the Dog Whisperer? He has written a few books and someone finally talked me into getting, (out of the library of course,) his book, How To Raise The Perfect Dog. I have to admit, though there are some things I don't agree with, there are some techniques I am thinking of using with Ciara and Penny, mostly the games. Of course this is better for those who are thinking of getting a new puppy or have a puppy, but I think he has written books for older dogs as well. One thing he says, that my daughter does and I never considered training them was to train the dog to go potty on command. I don't worry about my puppies, but now that I think about it, if they are on a schedule, then I can't work around their schedule and not get interrupted if they suddenly must go..

Just blame it on Gissi and all that gas. You've been gassed I tell you. Or since you were working with glue, maybe its the combination, the gas and glue. That could be lethal, gotta be careful with that. I will be nice and not make any jokes about being blond. BTW I am a brunette,

Hi gabs! I hope by now you have gotten yourself unstuck from your laptop!lol And I hope Gissi has gotten to go potty too! I can't make fun of you because I can't even touch anything requiring glue because I usually end up gluing myself instead of whatever it is I'm supposed to be fixing! So I don't think you are a dizzy head! Just my very wonderful friend who I love very much!

That is funny gabs! It reminds me of when my daughter came out of school covered in glitter almost from head to toe and two minutes later her teacher walked out also covered in glitter! They apparently bumped into each other while doing craft work, my daughter had the glitter in her hand and it went flying everywhere mostly on them! I had my fingers stuck together after using Superglue one day and I was a bit worried for a while as I tried to pry my fingers apart to no avail! I eventually managed it using nail polish remover which I am allergic to I might add! These things happen to all of us and I am not even blonde...(LOL)

Now, I am not so sure that that is so awful. I have green paint on my fingers. I also have been on with nail polish, lol. Did you hear about the blond who could not read her computer screen? She kept using her correction fluid. I hope you get all the glitter and glue off your laptop and that Gissi did not have an accident while waiting for you.

Well actually it makes two of us, because this sounds like something I'd do or I'd even do worse by having the glue and the glitter all over the computer and all the keys. Yes, I would. I have done some really stupid things things.

and this is probably WHY I don't do cards much, thread bits don't stick to everything in sight! actually, excellent advise! I try to keep the cats out of here and I still have cat hair everywhere, in the keyboard, etc!

If it helps...I've managed to crazy glue my fingers together...to a desk to the edge of a laptop...SO often that crazy glue is now hidden from me by others.

As a fellow crafter, I honestly think that our brains are four or five steps ahead of everything else around us so, naturally, we'd do things like glue our fingers to the keyboard. Maybe that's also a blonde thing, too, but part definitely comes with that crafter's brain. I know that my mind is always several steps ahead of my body. It's a wonder I don't bump into things (like doorframes or walls) more often or trip over my little girls, since they're always at my feet. My hair is darker blonde than it used to be, plus there's red in there with the blonde so I may not be quite as bad as you but I'm not far behind. I've never glued my finger to the keyboard (yet, anyway) but I've had many things, like glitter, seed beads, etc. fly around the room. So, don't call yourself a Dizzy Head. You're just a crafter who happens to be blonde. You just have to make sure your speed-of-light ideas don't get tangled up with your feet.

Well I would respond to the blondie bit but from blond to another I am afraid I would confuse with my answer on that one dear. All I can say is I hope the finger got unstuck and all the glitter and glue removed. I do hope that Gissi was able to relieve, which I sure with his wonderful behavior he waited as patiently as he could.

That must've been some glue! Glad you unstuck yourself, and I'm guessing Gissi is, too.

I agree...from one crafter to another! LOL....I have not gotten my finger glued to a keyboard yet....but unfortunately sometimes I find paint...or glitter like you in the most unusual places..

My hobby is oil painting and I learned very quickly that painting and computers really don't mix..lol..I was trying to paint from a picture on the computer once...well...I learned that it was a better idea to print the picture off.

That's funny! I don't think your a Dizzy Head...I do dumb stuff all the time. I've glued so many things I didn't mean to glue that I went and bought a big bottle of glue remover. It's almost gone...

No, I don't think your a dizzy head.I'm not a blond but I still have my duh! moments. I think everyone does things every now and then that they wonder how they even did it.Hopefully it all cleaned up and that Gissi made it outside on time.
