and of course other Names as she does Well I call Mum Blondie, she only went and tripped over the Rug landed on all fours, shouted Gissi watch out, I got such a fright (I was asleep) that I jumped out the way just before Mum landed She laid there for a bit, I went to check her, she said she was ok, it was just her leg that was sore as she has Sciatica and it is playing up so I went back to sleep, next thing she said "Oh thanks Gissi, you just go back to sleep" Well yeah, Mum you said you are ok, which means I can go back to sleep now Well anyway to get back to Glitter Gissi Mum was making her Cards, and well after she has finished glittering them she puts them on the Floor to dry, normally where I do not usually lie, but well I decided to have a change and lie somewhere else for a change, Mum came back in the room and when she saw me she said "Oh Gissi no, you are lying on the Cards, please get of them" I did not move, why should I when I was Comfy, Mum said "Gissi you are not funny, you will be covered in Glue and Glitter now please get of the cards, move now as you are also smudging the Glitter, now get of please" She came closer and asked me to move, well I did because I knew I was not going to get any Peace at all until I moved The Mum picks me up and looks at my Tummy, I mean what is her Game here, she then said Glitter Gissi you are covered in all colours here bath for you now,"Huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh why do I need a whole Bath when it is only my Tummy that is covered in Glitter and Auntie Moon will not mind, because Mum sorted the bit of smudges I did, so why the all over Bath?????? So of I was carried, no matter how much I struggled and put in a Bath Well when Mum went to put the Towel round me I shook myself, there Mum you have a shower with me, well her words where "Hey you little Glitter Gissi, there was no need for that I am drenched now", well good Mum now you know how I feel Now she calls me Glitter Gissi because she is still finding bit of Glitter on me So do you think I should have had that full Bath or just the Tummy Bath I say just the Tummy Bath not that I had much say in the matter

Oh, Hatley, there must be a monster in your computer. Do you lose other things besides the MyLot things? Perhaps clearing a cache or the history would help. I would be growling myself. I also would use a word processing software to get it written if I could not solve the problem.

Hi Hatley...when you lose a response, do you hit refresh? You will be given an option to resend and this usually works for me.

I'm on your side this time Gissi...I think you just needed a sponge bath on your tummy for the glue and a good brushing for the glitter. Please stay off the cards though...you are as bad as Banjo, he always wants to lie down wherever I am trying to work and when I'm not looking he chews up the papers!

Next time, roll over on your back to make the glitter stick there, that would look really good. I tried to make Banjo a glitter cat but it would not stick to him. Hugs from your Auntie Tickle Gissi.

I think you should have told Mum that it was a fashion statement, and protested loudly that a bath would ruin it...

First, I'm glad your Mum is okay after the fall. Otherwise, this could be a sad story, but since all is well...I'll chuckle. I would have given you a bath all over, just because it was easier. Even if I got a bath in the process. Are your Mum's cards okay?

Now, Gissi, you know your Mom is overreacting, just the same my Mom does. The other day I played with a new puppy in the neighborhood. It was so fun! We trundled in the mud and there was mud everywhere in our coat. Can you imagine what happened next? Yeah, your guess is right, my Mom gave me a bath. She must be crazy about cleanliness.

Hello Gissi, It would be great if your mom could talk to mine to convince her to be more polite. You seem to be an experience moms trainer. I'd like to be like you. Maybe I could train her not to wash my feet every time we come from outside when it rains. I hate this even if I get a treat for being calm and quiet.

Oh, Gissi, I forgot to tell you how impressed I am that your Mom said "please" when she asked you to move away from the cards. Oh, how I wish my people would be so polite! Maybe I'd climbe down the kitchen table faster if they said "please" instead of "nu-i voie!" (this is the Romanian for "Off!") Can you ask you Mom to speak with mine, to teach her how to address me? Love, Binne the Airedale

Gissi, not only did you need that bath, you probably need combed to get the glitter the rest of the way out. Of course Mum may not mind the little sparkles. I have a tree that has little glitters and I do not mind that. I have glitter dots that fell off a shirt my son's lady friend wore. But Gissi, how could she possibly make sure she got all of that glue off without giving you a whole bath. I hope you turned the warm heat up while you dried off so neither of you took a chill. I know that you want to be right where Mum has put her attention. Oh, I hope you tack down the rug so she does not trip again. I bet you smell fresh as a daisy, after your bath.

Hey Auntie GG Well she did brush me as well but I do not mind the brushing, I love being brushed it is the silly Bath I just do not like, Yeah Mum said I smell lovely I didn't think I did As for Mum's rug she said she is going to buy some tape and tape it down, but no doubt that will take Mum a few Months as she always forgets when she is out and then remembers when she gets home that she forgot to buy it

Well Gissi, I hate to tell you but it is much easier to bathe the whole of you than just the tummy. So so must side with your mum. You will still have have glitter for some time, but the glue is gone. You truly are something Gissi. You are good company for your mum and she loves you so much. I won't mind a few smudges on my cards. lol Tell your mum to yake care of herself and try not to fall again. Those falls can hurt a lot sometimes.

That's okay, I'm sure your mum did a great job fixing it. I hate to tell your mom but I'm afraid the last batch she sent during Christmas ...I think someone else may have gotten them. Because I just got another small package that Cheryl sent to me last week. I think either hers is lost or someone thought money was in it and they got it or something. I have no clue at this point. We will see if they get here next week and go from there as to what to do. I hate this for her because I know she is so upset over this. Tell her try not to be...I understand and everyone her...well they don't even know they are getting them, lol. hugs to you both.

Hi Gissi, No I'm not going to call you Glitter Gissi because I'm not sure that you'd like that. I agree with mum about the bath though, it was best to have a whole bath. (I can hear you saying, "people always still together anyway, no point in asking you"). That's not really true Gissi, I'll bet some people agree with you. I know you love mum though so take good care of her. Blessings to you both.

Well Gissi it's pretty hard to get a small dog's belly wet enough to remove glitter and not just wash the whole dog. Look at it this way it just means you get to wait that much longer before you get another bath. Clouds around look for the silver lining.

Awww Gissi, you poor thing had to get a bath. If mum wouldn't have given you a full bath, that glue would have dried and pulled your hair. Then that would have hurt your tummy. You really shouldn't have shook like that. I had a doggy who did the same thing, I would get all wet too. You know better then sleeping on your mums work. You probably wanted to get all sparkly with the glitter. So glad that your mum didn't hurt herself when she fell. You be a good boy for her, her leg might be sore from her fall.

poor Gissi, you handsome guy. Coco here. well you know, my mum does the same dern thing. if i get in the mud and its just on my feet, i try to hide, but she either finds me or says the magic word, which is "cheese" i love cheese. sorry, got off the subject there. yes, i always make sure i give her a little shower to. if she suspects anything, i stand and shiver like i got nothing on my mind. then when she steps forward with the towel i give all i got to a big shaking. before she drops it on me. strangest thing tho, even when i hate the bath, i feel so good when its over. cant help but scamper all over the house and give those toys whats for...lol. dont you? love ya' big boy, Coco

Hi Glitter Gissi! It's Cousins Star & Luna! I'll bet you looked really "pretty" with all those colors all over your tummy! We don't get baths, but Star likes to go into the tub after Mom finishes her shower and all the water is out. He's silly! I don't go near that tub thing! I'm Luna, and I don't ever want a bath or make believe bath either! Sorry you had to have a whole bath even though you just had a "glitter tummy". I guess you should have stayed away from those card thingys! Glad that you're all clean now! We miss you! Love, Star & Luna

That's pretty funny. My mom used to call me monkey because I used to climb and find things that I wanted all the time. When I started school and could write good I wrote my name as monkey. The teacher thought that was weird. I put my last name on it too so she would know who I was. Have a good week!
