hi there. i've been here for five years now and i am proud to say that i was able to purchase a new printer out of my mylot earnings. i just let my earnings be accumulated and then if the time comes that these would be enough to buy some stuffs, i would withdraw it from paypal. so far i only had this equipment at hand from my efforts at mylot. as long as the printer is still functional i cannot forget this online endeavor of mine.

Well flagella08, I think you are like me. I have also been in mylot for the last 5 years, and I have also posted only about 2600 odd posts.
Anyhow, congragulations on your purchase of the printer. Yes you will always remember paypal,whenever you see the printer.

i think it's not how many posts that matters here. i have only 2400 posts but i have been paid here quite reasonably. i believe that it's always the quality that counts more.

Receiving the reward of our own efforts is indeed a wonderful and sweet moment. We realize that after our works and efforts, we can have more than we expected. That printer of yours will surely be an unforgettable equipment to you. I hope you will still be able to use it longer.
Also, earning money online can be a success because this job is still mostly unknown to other people. Especially those who do not have their own computers. I, again, recalled the motto of mine; "Success is not easily won, it requires hard work and sacrifices"

yeah right. i can say that sowing hard work has a great reap. this is my diligent and relentless pursuit of doing a great job. the more i can reap the more i get inspired. like for example, someone who is generally a really hard worker: at school, in life in general, but then looses motivation as soon as things become rough (i.e. don't come easily or intuitively).I think we all probably tend towards things we're good at.I'm asking because I have a very close friend who landed a great, great, great new job, but it requires a long and obnoxious certification process. Basically, this friend's studying isn't going so hot, he's "just not getting it" (despite being really good at the job itself), and his studying style, technique and motivation level have just GONE TO CRAP.
Basically, it was hard, he's lost motivation, he's setting himself up to fail. He studies constantly, too much if you ask me, but is just not getting it, and I can't think of any reason why other than laziness... not that there aren't real hurdles in his way, but the underlying theme feels like "This is hard for me, unintuitive, not coming easily, therefore I give up."
Is there ANYTHING I can do here. And can I just tell my friend he's being lazy?

Very nice discussion. You must earn a lot for to buy a very good printer, and with the efforts you gave in here at mylot is really recognized. As for now, I haven't buy anything out of my earnings here at mylot. But on my other online sideline, I do. I buy a shoes online out of my neobux earnings. And the feeling is really good, hehehe. I'm really looking forward to earn enough here at mylot, and maybe I do the same thing as yours, I'll save it first, and think of something worthy to buy.

Yes, I think it is a great way to make a few bucks although the money accumulates slow but it will eventually be something. Some day, when you check out your balance, you will realize your hard work is worth it, then you can spend it on the things you have wanted! :-)

Wow! You earned this much in mylot? I am not so old here and I haven't reached my first payment yet. In fact I'm far from the minimum payout.
Maybe if I am more active here, I'll reach my payout sooner, but how to find the time I need?
I'm curious, how much time did you need to raise the money for the printer?

I do the same thing. When you have a little coming from five or six different sites and you let it accumulate over afew months then you can see where you have quite a bit saved. It is when you take every cent every time you get any and spend it that you never have much to speak of.

Well, i have not thought of buying something as remembrance from my mylot earnings. I paid out only once and it was only a small amount but i was so happy that i was paid without having so much effort. I don't have much time with mylot that is why i could not reach payout fast. Maybe i have to spend more time with the site this time, so that i could earn more and be able feel the fruits of my labor.

i made money by writing articles online and with that i bought a all in one printer. of canon..

Wow, that was nice. It motivates me more here at MYlot.
I am just for about 5 months here and will just be receiving my first payout maybe this 15th . Just like you, i plan to accumulate my earnings here and have it in my bank account thru paypal. Then, when December comes, i might withdraw it and buy something material for myself too.

I've been active here for almost a year only and I can say that I have earned a considerable amount of money, even enough to buy me a new cellphone.
However, since I am not working or rather I don't have a full time day job and only stay at home to take care of my kids, I usually spent the money for the needs inside our home if hubby couldn't hand me our budget on time. I'm happy to be of help even in my little way, though.
Last December, I did not withdrew my Mylot earning and waited for it to accumulate to the a higher threshold of which I am happy to say that I have achieved this month. This month's earning will be transferred to my Paypal account and I'll wait for it to at least reach $7K before withdrawing. By that time, I can probably buy a decent phone or start job hunting.
I'm happy to hear your story. This inspires me more to work harder here.

Wow that is really inspiring, imagine having bought something out of your earnings here in mylot.Also I could imagine the nights when you are busy opening topics and posting responses and comments to a discussion so that you could increase your rewards because here once you are active benefits are non stop.I'm happy for you...

That is a smart way to do things so you can buy more expensive things. That's what I do on a lot of sites. Even, if I cash out before there is lots of money I keep it in paypal and let it add up with the other paying sites that I do so the money can accumulate in paypal so it can add up to more money.Have a good day!
