I think in this world, time is not on your side most of the time. That is where proper time management techniques come in. You are always trying to find ways to manage your time so you can work smarter, so the same general path is traveled to the end. I feel that if a job can get done efficiently in three hours as opposed to five, then go for it. As long as it is not a half hearted effort, you might find a way to get it done quicker and perhaps better.

I actually believe time is the perfect system to enable us to embrace and experience different things in nice slow amounts. Whenever the pace is quickened the accuracy always suffers. To just slow down and experience moments in their entirety is one of the most beautiful things in my opinion.

Sometimes when the pace is quickened, it cannot suffer. But not always. There are times where you take more time and then you think way too much. Thus it is really not all that good when you overthink. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

There are people who are cerebral types and there are people who are muscular or osseous types. Now cerebral types are thinkers. They plan but hardly execute. They always rely on other people for execution of their plans. Even if you are a management guru, you will need workers to realize all your plans. It is better to accept the fact that there will be people who can't be smarter even if they try. But that's not bad at all, because some other people will never be strong no matter how they exercise. If you're in a wrong job, there is no way you can excel in it. However if you pick up just the right job for you, you will get huge success. Talking about management techniques, there are people who don't want to manage others. To be more precise they don't feel confident enough to take responsibilities. On the other hand there are people who are born leaders. No matter how difficult the situation is, they will always find a smarter and easier way to deal with it. There are people who are smarter than the others. Some people just CAN'T. There is really no use denying this reality.

Sadly that is the case. There are people who will never really get the hang of working smarter. Perhaps one day some people might but for every person out there who has, there are many more who have not. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

I see no reason to not work smarter. If you can get something done faster, then you should. Just because the way you were showed is how it has always been done, if you can show them a better way, I would think they would be happy. Thanks for bringing this up!

Well said, I very much agree! Working smart is by far better than working hard if you ask me. But it is not only about time management I think, but also about prioritizing and seeing what is important and what is not... :)

Prioritizing is something that many I think struggle with when you really think about it. They just do not put the right things in the right order. Therefore that is really not working smart and if they do not properly do that, they are working much harder then they need. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
