Hong Kong is a place which is full of people. You can imagine how it is like when over 7 million people are living in a small island. The traffic is always so pack up and during rush hours, the traffic are always terrible.Recently , many people from mainland China came to Hong Kong as a traveller and visitors. It is true that they have spend lots of money in this place and stir up the tourism a bit. However, since there cultural background is wuite diifferent from th hong Kong Chinese people, the people in Hong Kong alwyas suffer a lot from them.Look at the way they sit on the train and the way they wait for the sunway whcih is coming on the platform, you will know how sslfish they are. They don't get use to line up in the mianland beacuse they never have such a habit and they don't fell like to line up in hong KoNG WHILE EVERYONE IN hONG kOng will line up for things. They will just use their hands to hold their east and with for the realtives to take the seat without allowing others to sit on it .They talk much louder than Hong Kong localist even Hong Kong people are already talking so loud already. They alwyas carring their luggage on the train and out it beside their legs(they can actually put in under their seat but they don't wnat to do it because in mainland Chian , their luggage can be steal so easily), and that would make the four seat in the train getting so squeeze to seat on it.They all did that and blocking the way inside the subway or train. They never line up and just jump in to the trains ahead of other people who are lining up withour any feeling at all. Many of them do have terrible smell as well. Although we both belong to the same race but due to the where we live and raise up are quite difference, it becomes a hard time for all the Hong Kong people.Well, you can share about your experience?

Hello wildlittlefan,
This is what I can say about people from Mainland, China
I really observe Chinese people from the Mainland do not know how to line up in supermarkets, subways or train. Everybody wants to go first.
At times you see them pushing each other.
Even in a more advance city of China like Shanghai and Beijing, I saw people just do not mind following lines. They step on your toes and push you aside for them to be in the first line.
I just hope with them opening their door to the world, they would learn from other people.

Irene, I feel sorry for them and I hope you can forgive them as well. Although they are gettimg rich but their education level is low and their conduct level are even worse . Why ? It has something to do with the poor education system by the communist government. The government only encourage the people to make money and never pay any attention to their moral and conduct level. There are still many things in the country that need to improve . I don't like them even they are the same race as mind. But I think God has mercy on them and I still prayinf for their salvation everyday and hope that the future China can be much better. Irene, sicne we are all human ,I hope you can pary for them with forgiveness from God as well. There are still many poor people in China that need to be comfort and there are still many people who are rich outside but extremely poor inside. Thya ned ther gospleof Jesus to transform them. Have a good day .

Yeah, you are right there!
What they want is money all the time.
I do not know why when in fact they have abundant food in China.
Their way of living is far cheaper than in my country but it seems they want more!
When I was there, I tried to tell them about God too but someone I was told they do not like to follow other ideology. They only want to follow communism and be loyal top their government.

Well, I have never been to that place but I have heard a lot of good things about the place. However, what you narrated above is nothing compared to our place. You will experience worst things in our place. LOL

Hello Cutie,
I think people from Mainland, China are worst than people from our country.
I had been there and nothing compares to how they behave.
Filipino people know how to behave at least in any establishment.
Chinese do not. They just spit even in a descent restaurants, hotels and supermarkets. They talk as loud if they want to and do many other unwanted actions we cannot see in our country.
Wildlittlefan is correct in his description of them.
Thanks

I had traveled through Hong Kong before. That was my entry point to China the first time I worked there. It was hard for me to be there because I had never been in such a big city before. I don't remember much about that trip except that it was really crowded. Hearing your description makes me wonder why people can't just pay attention to what the people around them do and follow suit. I believe the saying "when in Rome, do as the Romans do". It should be the same way wherever you go. When I was working in China, I tried to do things as they were being done by the locals. I never learned the language more than a few words, but I didn't really need to because all my students wanted to speak English with me and they always wanted to go with me to act as translators. Thanks for sharing this!

For the most part in my life, I haven't had to use public transportation on a regular basis. However, when I was seventeen years old I had the opportunity to travel to Italy and France for World Youth Day. While we were in Paris we had passes to use the subway system and that is definitely something that I will never forget in my life. The Subways were so crowded and some of the people really stank. That was enough to teach me how lucky I was that I don't always have to use public transportation.

I've never encountered that before though I already went to China (Shenzen, if I remember it right) and rode a train going there from Hong Kong. I got asleep on the train and a chinese lady woke me up. The place is so crowded especially in the market.

On my very first ever trip to China I was molested on a train from Beijing to Harbin. Late at night I woke up on the top bunker from a hand under my blanket touching my whole body - I opened my eyes and saw that it was the train's own security guy! When we arrived in Harbin we went to the police to report this but they were not interested at all! Safe to say, China won't see me ever again!
