Security!

I've been going to my bank for almost four years now. When I first started going, and even before this (my mom used to go to this bank first), there was a security guard. He was a nice guy. Anyway, for the past few months, I've noticed he's not there. In his absence, homeless people have been flocking to the atm part of my bank due to cold weather. They smell and I think many of them are crazy. They ask for money and try to start fits. I tried to talk to the manager, but she told me there's no security guards anymore. I think this is very dangerous. Does your bank have security guards?

In my country, we have at least two bank guards. One stays inside while the other stands outside by the door. It's really not unusual given the spate of bank robberies here. And we do have homeless people who hang around ATM machines and beg for alms but they do that during the night when there's only one guard left, and he's usually inside the bank.

i don't think i have ever seen a bank with security guards...but it does kind of seem like there should be one. i mean, people are always trying to rob banks, so it seems like the people who visit the bank as well as the people who work at the bank would be in alot of danger. but anyway i have never seen any homeless people or anything at any of the banks i've ever used, but maybe it just differs for each area.
