I am freelancer and I am okay with my job right now. For you, I think you should relax for a while. Perhaps you are experiencing stress.

The timings of my office are perfect for me. Salary is always on time. Not much work stress. That are the main reasons for me to stick to my present job. I will not say I am extremely happy. But I get a lot of time for my online activities

it's not that i am tired or bored or not excited to go to work but it's the job that you could not say NO when something is about to arrive to you as additional work load. being in the government service, there are certain roles or projects that could not be given to other members of the office staff. i mean, even if there are more capable or illegible or qualified to handle certain work or assignment, they could not accept the work or they could not be assigned to handle it, when the rule says, it should be you. as an example, a record officer is tasked to do the records management. when a new project comes, there are no attached new positions created with the project so existing employees will be assigned, therefore, additional work load. i could be happier with the job i presently have if more positions will be created, thereby creating more jobs for the unemployed.

I just raised a discussion yesterday about problems at work wearing me down. I guess that answers the question about me being happy (or not) with my work still. Although there are a few perks with the job, and the work I do, I also feel that it is so stressful that it leaves me physically and mentally tired at the end of the day. I ain't complaining though.

i work in a computer shop, i admit that sometimes i feel like I'm sick of my job, the main reason is that it is very stressful, working 7 days a week with no leave or whatsoever, but i have to stay and stick to this job, because this is the place where i get most of the things i want to, and this job fits on my interest and hobbies... and these are my outlet that makes me go on with it... i suggest that you find some outlet the some what co-relate to your job, perhaps think of the people that surrounds, yes, friends i bet you got friends on your workplace,,, you can ask them for some techniques or style... to help you cope up with your target... cheers... please feel free to add me up

Personally, I have my Good and my Bad days. I think it is just the amount of distance I have to drive, and the hrs. I work, etc. along with feeling like there is nothing exciting left to be working where I am at. I get no appreciation anymore and feel like I am just a number. It is hard to stay motivated to want to get anything like this when #1 people with less seniority get all the praise, and get as much $$ as I do when since I have more time than them I should be making more, etc. It is seriously getting time for me to consider moving on to something else but waiting for the right job to present itself as well.

I will be starting with a new job tomorrow but I am not excited. I have a lot of worries with the new job, plus I know I still have some health issues. My asthma is still acting up and I cannot afford not to work because I won't have the money to buy my medication. The only driving force for me to go to work is the money. I am a slave for money now because of my condition and I am hoping and praying that in due time this will change.

I am fine, and I am very happy with my job. I am working for a business company which is in the international trading sector. That makes me travel frequently in the country and also to countries in different parts of the world. That is some thing I like and enjoy very much. Working with people of different countries and cultures is certainly very enjoyable. I also get the chance to visit many interesting and attractive places in the countries.

I am a nurse who just passed my licensure exam last July. Here in our country we cannot find a job without having a nurse trainee experience yet. Which means you have to work without pay. So most of us new nurses have to accept this job for an experienced and certification the hospital will give us. Even if we are not paid, i could say that I do enjoy my work as a nurse in the government hospital that caters most of the low income group of the country. The most we could get from them is their thank you's and I have come to realized, I cannot exchange it from any type of payment. Just to help other people and the feeling that you were able to make them feel better and happy is already satisfying. So, the best that I could say now is that I am very much happy with my present job. Just stay in your job because you are still lucky to have earned. If after a few months, even if the status change but you find it unhappy still I think you should start to look for a new one where you can be happy.

On most days, I really like my job. I can't say that I absolutely enjoy going to work 5 days a week, every week. There are other things that I would rather be doing. As far as the people that I work with, there are a couple that I would prefer to live without in my life. But, since I enjoy the job, and the hours and pay are pretty good, I think I will stick with it. I will continue to try to do other things to increase my self-employed income, like paying off debt, buying other properties and writing articles, in hopes that within the next 5 years I may work for myself and set my own hours instead of letting other people choose those things for me. I hope that you can keep up the good spirits and hopefully have less pressure in the near future. Good luck to you!

I think I'm okay. I'm not too excited to go to work, but I don't dread it too. I like what I do at times, and at times I get bored. I excel in what I do, and I guess that is one of my motivations for staying there. I keep thinking I should switch companies though, cause my salary ain't enough for my monthly expenses, but I'm still thinking about it until now.

Currently I am not doing a job except for working online. I am not satisfied with this job, because I am convinced that staying home is not going to make me happy. I need a job where I have to go out and mix up with people. Working from home, writing is not my natural choice. However, I am looking for a government job. It is really tough to get a government job here. To get such a job you need to be real smart. You need to know how the entire government machinery works. You need to be aware of all the important events in the national and international levels. You need to do good in reasoning as well as mathematics. Right now I am studying Constitution and Economy because they are also under the curriculum. I need to study everything from literature to politics just to be a good administrator and guess what, I am actually enjoying this study very much. Sometimes I just forget that I used to belong to some engineering discipline.

Hi Carrine, I'm sorry to hear about what you're feeling about work right now. I've felt the same way with my 2yr previous employment. I decided to let go of the job though I like the nature of the job and the people I'm working with but I'm just not really happy about. Like I'm dragging myself everyday just to go to work that time. I filed my resignation and I really thank God for I found a job which I'm really happy with. I feel so contented right now with my job though I'm just about almost a year age here I've seen the difference from my previous work. Some of the things that changed were my attendance, my willingness to go to work everyday and doesn't feel tired about it, I feel happy every time I'm a work and inspired to aim higher post. I wasn't happy before for the reason that I don't see opportunities to improve more on the job that I've chosen and it was like it would take more and more years before I would be able to apply for a higher post and I can see that the company doesn't have any plans or maybe they have plans of letting their employees go on a different trainings for professional improvement but didn't take the action to implement it. It was sad because I've worked with people that are nice and I'm comfortable working with but I just came to my senses that staying always in my comfort zone will not feed my family and will not provide me a better future. So then I decided to resign. You might want to consider a lot things before leaving or staying within the company. I believe I've chosen the right thing because I'm happy where I am right now and contented with what I have. There's always pressure at work and performance as well is unpredictable. Maybe you just need some time off your job and relax. Too much work will just burnt you out.
