Hi MyLotters, I am suffering from some Viral Fever for the last two days. Sorry that I am unable to respond even to the comments on my last discussion.... But I cannot stay away from MyLot because I have no one else to chat with or spend my time with as my wife is away for her job and I am at home as usual. But this is what is happening and of concern to me - Right now I am finding the discussions so very meaningless, even the ones that were so very full of life and colors seem to be unattractive to me right now... As they say - Black and White...nothing more. I know it is due to the fever and the body ache that I have... Have you ever felt the same - Black and White - thing for the so good discussions? That is missing the vibes that were present on the discussions once when you were in a happy mood? And hey, doesnt that prove that if you are happy within, the world looks happy and beautiful? HAPPY MYLOTTING, theSids.

In arabic says "salamat leyum" (I don't know the right spelling) means are you okay now? I think your present condition will not good for thinking and doing using your mind. Better take another 2 days relax and rest. Our mind has what you called black and white which same as mental block due to that fever and your body is unable to cooperate to your mind... see you around

I am taking rest and when I get bored, I hop on to mylot and have a chat with friends and their discussions... to cut down on my loneliness Hope to get to see the colors soon

Hi topffer, Yes, I know this one for sure... it is something like a greeting in the muslim community... and the response to this is wallekum-as-salam (not sure as of now but this is without opening the wikipedia page)

It is Salam Alaykhum in North Africa, and is employed to say "How are you ?" but the meaning depends of the country. There is a good article in Wikipedia : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/As-Salamu_Alaykum

Hello Sid, First of all I wish you a speedy recovery. Take medicines properly and plenty of rest too so that you will be alright soon. Regarding the question, very true, if we are happy then we can see that the world is filled with happiness and vice versa. I have mood outs then I don’t feel to enjoy mylot but what I do is, then I spend time to read others posts (of course I have free time) and finally I will be able to do posts and have fun with friends. But in case of health problems it is difficult dear, so first you should take care of your health. Now you are down as physically too. So once again am telling you, Get well soon.

Hi Sree, I am feeling better today, though the weakness is still there, the fever is lower and I am happy :) And yes, that is true that when I am gloomy the world and many other things look gloomy too... I need to practice some more here to see the positive and colors even when I am gloomy.

Oh Bhai! How are you feeling? I must confess I just assumed you were busy. I'm glad you got to celebrate your anniversary Before you fell ill. I hope you feel better soon. I don't see any Black or White posts. I see either posts I respond to and others I will not. Some maybe Very easy to write about but I wouldn't call them black and white. And just because I'm happy, Does not mean I see the World as a happy place for all.

Hi Sid, Hope you are alright now. No medicines? In fact from here in office, I find difficult to respond to the discussion. I am take part directly from the site and responding by ignoring the warnings. But I cannot respond to the responses that I am receiving through my emails. I hope you are recovering and keeping good health. You are already suffering from other illness and alongwith all, the new problems will make you so tiered. However, forget about myLot and take adequate rest and be relaxed. Once you are ok, then continue. Though we are just reading and responding, our mental strain will be too much. I got it experienced this Sat & Sunday, I was continuously and by evening I got so tiered and I am wondering how all can sit on computer and make it for so long. In office, it is ok, because there are lots of other work and we wont feel the pinch. But at home, alone and just myLot will be a real pain and honestly telling you to take one or 2 days proper rest and relax. In fact you need bodily rest and forget all. I know how much dedication we all have and all others are not the same like us. So, take it seriously and just close down the eyes and sit for some time doing nothing. You must have go my id ie - k.thankappan @ in . ey. com (I kept spaces in between and while responding don't leave spaces the id and joint all. I think some mails are getting deleted if there is mail ids included. Please send my your mobile no. Thank-s

Today it is back so got my blood tests done and it is revealed that I have viral fever... 3-4 days for sure now. I am here at MyLot even during fever as I felt bored lying on the bed resting... nothing too good happening with me here in real world at the moment... and on MyLot I have so many whom I can have a small chat or discussion... Oh yes, I sent you my phone number and I have also noted your email. I would send out my details to some of my close friends today

Hi thesids, I have felt the same before when I was really sick, everything seem grayish for me. Nothing can cheer me up. Other people are laughing in front of the TV shows and I just feel that it is so bored and nothing big deal to laugh about. That shows that our body is really sick and need a good rest. So, I suggest you to go and have a good rest and let your body relax and come back later when you feel better, I am sure you will find many happy and interesting topic in mylot. Take care and cheer up!

Hello Thesids, So you're feeling "black and white" because of the fever. Hmmm, this tells me why my dog was so whimsy the other day, when she had fever. We were on a hike in the woods and she ate a lot of snow (she does this often, I remember we used to eat snow, too when we were kids). I had some days when I saw myLot in black and white like you, even if I didn't have fever. There are days when we feel like doing anything else than we usually do, so I wouldn't worry about this any more. But I'd worry if I had fever like you did. I hope you will be fine from now on and you'll be more careful with your health. God bless you, thesids.

Hello Thesid, I'm glad you're feeling better today. Now you feel like the life is colorful again? I'm sure you will be able to pay a trip to a snowy country sometimes, and I'm sure you will remember me then. But make sure you won't eat the snow, as you'll get a sore throat and you'll make fever again. Darshika, Binne is OK now, she was a little whimsy for two days, now she's back to normal. I'll send your regards to her, but right now she's busy with chewing a huge beef bone.

Hi Sid, Hmmm... Based on some earlier posts, I don't know if this is just the result of some boredom & physical discomfort. Sounds more like existential angst. You have been asking some very basic questions about life & existence. It all comes down to "Is that all there is?" Miss Peggy Lee, the great jazz singer, has an amazing song of that title & mood. If it isn't too sad, you might want to look it up to see what I mean. Possibly, if that's more the issue, you may want to get your hands on a copy of BUSTING LOOSE FROM THE MONEY GAME by Robert Scheinfeld. It's not mainly about money--that's more a way to focus the discussion than anything else. He just put out a follow-up book called BUSTING LOOSE FROM THE BUSINESS GAME. They both deal with the same methods, just slightly different applications to help gain clarity on the issues involved. Others have "gone there," I believe. But I especially appreciate Scheinfeld's ability to simplify this sort of thing. Also, he seems to have hit on some nuances others have missed. In fact, he missed them in his earlier books & says so himself, disavowing his own earlier writings! I haven't read BUSINESS GAME but must say MONEY GAME has been a mind-blowing way to approach life. I'm still--just a little less gingerly than before--bringing myself to apply this approach. If it's not for you, I totally understand! It's very weird stuff. May help, though. Sunshine & Blessings, Giovani

Hi Brother, It feels that it was the kind of boredom and physical discomfort right now... as I am feeling quite better today. Though the weakness is still there and I was asleep for more time than my normal days, but it is better. Oh yes, I was on your blog yesterday and have joined as a follower. Though I am not sure when and how frequent visitor I would be but I would be there as I found it a really good set of info. I will try getting the Money Game from somewhere because the last time you asked me to read some book it was great - The Wishcraft

Mamu.... actually i am hanging in this discussion. Not sure what is the question and how to answer. As my perception is concerned... I am addicted to mylot like you but cant be active here sometimes due to over load of my daily stuffs. Sometimes i have enough time for it but as you have said some meaningless discussions irritate me and force me to live mylot. Happy mood? hmmm... i dont know when i am happy or not?

Hello thesids, Only herbivorous are seeing life in two colors, are you not mutating now in something else ? A were-rabbit maybe ? Everybody has highs and lows and there are days when I don't find many discussions interesting at myLot for me also. When I have fever, I am losing my humor, and I can be sad, so I think that this is natural. I hope that you will not be away too long and that you will see again the life in colors. Your friends will wait for you to have recover... or definitely mutated -- I keep an eye on your avatar, just in case

Hi topffer, a were-rabbit much better than the normal word they use for were- And that also makes me sure that I will not be color blind and my eyesight will return to normal once I am free from this viral fever... It is good that I could hop on to mylot and have some participation because I was feeling quite ill before this and now I am a bit better

Homemade soup - Soup does the body and soul good!
Awwh thesids I am sorry you are not feeling well and will pray for you speedy recovery. As for myLot it does get this way from time to time and then perk things look up. I have been a bit on the depressive side with all my online assignment cancellations that I feel at times that things are hopeless. We have to have positivity and continue trucking. I am here with some soup, with hopes that it makes you feel better.

Hello dear Sids! Sorry for my delayed reply(again, lol)! I'm sure at this time you're ok,I hope! You know what, feeling ill makes me so lazy that I don't even want to move a bit so I greatly understand what you are feeling towards the discussions! There are also times even if I'm not ill,I feel not in the mood to reply and make discussions as well, lol! Maybe it's because of the stress I'm having. Sids,I'm quite confused with the twist of your questions..you are ill and you are happy?

Hi thesids, I hope that you would have a speedy recovery. Maybe your fever has not gotten you thinking straight right now. That's why you are seeing everything as dull. Get more rest, think of happy thoughts and you will be up and well in no time.

Hello! I hope you feel better. Moral support is always so important. Feeling good in your mind and in your soul, means feeling better in your body. Or so happens with me. About the black and white text, that doesn't mean that there are no shades of gray there. So even when you see everything as colorless as now, try to see that there is no black, or white, there are just tones of gray, and that can bring you to things you like about this, like a beautiful sketch done by a great graphologist, or a negative of a dear picture, or the night and a full, white moon. Doesn't this seem more appealing, maybe makes you forget a bit about the colors and rest your eyes and your mind? Peace can come with less brightness. Anyway, i do hope that you will feel great soon, don't let the fever take control over your mood. I wish you a speed recovery!

I think you are on to something there. Things really do depend on how we feel and even the most vibrant and colorful things can seem bland when we don't fell good or are having rough moments. I hope you get to feeling better soon so you can start seeing blues and reds again.
