What do you think girls really want to do when they have fun?

hi sender oh wow its been so long since I was a girl that I do' not remember all that Cyndi Lauper sang about. But I doubt if it was the things I thought were fun when I was a young woman. for one thing I worked as a nurses aide then and my days were tiring and I did not go out and socialize a lot after a day on myfeet taking care of a lot of very ill people. we tended to socialize in our own staff. on our days off we went driving up into the Black hills and dined on chicken in the basket and watermelon. we went fishing and hiking and no we were South Dakotans not big city dwellers so our fun was probably different. I went on a few blind dates that were absolutely awful. so when later when I moved to Arizona and met the man I know I would marry we had so much fun before we married and all my 33 years of marriage. He was a fun person, full of life and happiness.

I never was a girly girl, I was a tom boy . Back in my day fun meant having friends to play with Outside! To climb trees and in the summer to live at the swimming pool. So I have no idea what a girly girl saw as fun back then or what girls see as fun today.

I think with girls it is different then with boys. I think boys think about getting some all of the time. While girls have a more romantic notion. Sure some girls want to do that sort of thing, but I think the song is mostly just about hanging out and having a good time and maybe meeting some guys and kissing and having a good time.

I don't know. Maybe pillow fight or something. LOL

Hello mate, I too don't know what she sang. But for me, fun depends on my mood too. Sometimes all I want to do is meet some people who can be a lot fun and I just want to laugh out like hell that my stomach aches. But sometimes, all I need is to be alone and have some time spent for myself! That makes me feel that I'm going to have a lot fun though alone! That is how I define my fun aspect. Sometimes, listening to good music and dancing for the music too feels like great! And sometimes, cleaning the rooms and doing some internal decorations too feels so great! Cheers! I think it just means girls want to let their hair down and cut loose. What they actually do is specific to the individual so I can't say for sure. I can imagine they love to be in the company of loved ones, and to also have all of their desires fulfilled.

Hi. sender621. Those girls were wild and outrageous with having fun with each other. My version of having fun would be one where everyone can enjoy themselves even if they are enemies or strangers... Just as long as no one gets into trouble of any kind, hurt or killed.. Now that is my version of us girls, having fun that is wild and legal!
