What if there is no response to a discussion started by a mylotter?

I doubt it will hurt anything one way or the other. I started one a year or so ago and never got one response. The subject matter was something I wanted to put forth and see if other knew of it but I guess they either had no reply or knew nothing. I will never know now. Maybe, at some point, I will start the discussion again.

I think you will certainly not be paid. Because simply you do not ignite any discussion to generate money. Mylot pays us for generating discussion that can be discussed and by people involve in discussion, they use internet and that is how we generate money. We must bring people into mylot so that mylot can pay us. mylot cannot just pay for nothing.

The discussion will stay up unless it's against the rule.

If this is the case with some of the discussions that you've started, it will affect the number that shows up beside your name because a discussion does have to have a response to it before it will count toward you post count. As far as the earnings go, I really don't know about that because as has been discussed before, no one really knows how the mylot earnings work as far as what we make and where it is made.

Hi didi, Life explained it well and basically your point and or reputation will not be affected per se, they just remain the same until participation takes place, and not they do not get deleted unless they are withing violations of the guidelines. In order for more members to participate we need to keep the discussions flowing which means after members start discussions they need to comment back to the responders, but you do this anyways so that is not issue. Once you found out that there has been no response started by a mylotter, try to find out why. There might be some underlying reasons why such instance occurred. Try to consider the following: a. an error has incurred as regards discussion content; b. it might be a game or polling type discussion; c. it has no significant discussion content; d. a duplicate post of discussion; or e. mylotters just don't find it worth discussing. Try to go over the discussion and try to make modifications so as to entertain responses from mylotters.

I guess yeah mylot deleted the off topic discussion with no reply from the board...people usually seeks for easy discussion so that they can make their post/comment easily.

If you begin a discussion on My Lot but nobody responds I guess that discussion will stay on My Lot. In looking at discussions I have seen some that haven't yet had any response and they are four or five months old. I think that if someone responds it will affect your number of posts and possibly your ranking. Only if it violates My Lot rules will My Lot delete the discussion.

hi doctordidi Nothing bad happens to you just because you received no responses. It happens to all of us at one time or another.Your rating and rep will not go down unless you happen to respond to a poster whose discussion was deleted. but nothing bad happens and no the discussion is not deleted by the admins. the only time mylot deletes a discussion is when its broken a mylot rule.It will not affect your earnings at all they will not go up but will not go down either. Also a word of caution. so many newer people here have the completely wrong idea that they will make a ton of money if only they get a ton of responses. no you did not type those responses,we did and we get paid for responding to your discussion but you only get paid if you type comments back on all your responses.so remember you type and post comments or responses to others discussions you will get paid. but it seldom happens that in the long run you get no responses to your discussion. be patient and meanwhile keep posting to others discussions. you will be noticed more and your friends will start responding to your discussions so comment back to all the responses and no do not thank anyone as that comment will be deleted. instead comment on what you think of the response.mylot never deletes discussions for not having any responses. In fact if uou notice there is a tab marked no responses. and a lot of us will go and put in a response to get the discussion going.

I am looking each day for discussions that have no responses, and if I can respond to them, I do. I am new to mylot and so I am happy that this will help other people out!
